even though it has nothing to do with microtransactions, but will there be (or has there already been) a Q&A about the EoC... all the new players like it, but the loyal players from 2006-2010 have been against it from what i hear people saying and it would just be nice to know what all you guys have planned, because many players(including myself) are highly considering quitting once it is released... just some actual incite about the whole topic would be nice and could possibly change a few peoples minds about it. as i said, it has nothing to do with the previous Q&A, i was wondering if this would be part of a future Q&A.

"While it may appear that there is a huge amount of gold is entering the economy, the Squeal of Fortune rewards have been carefully considered and balanced to make sure that the amount of money being added into the economy is not having a detrimental long term effect on the game. We have a team of people who are responsible for ensuring that this is and will never be the case. "
Those 1k coin rewards add up, especially when you purchase large spin packs, and then you have those 50k, 200k and 500k rewards. It doesn't have to be the jackpot 200m cash reward, which is no doubt about it rare.
Also, when ya have promos such as double money for your spins events, and the latest Alchemist Amulet promo, as well as the ability to now convert items (particularly the skill pendants as an example, for skills you already have a 99 in) you are bringing in a large amount of cash into the game, in dribs or drabs, or by the truckload, depending on how many spins you buy.
As another example regarding that recent Alchemist Amulet promo: I myself took advantage of that weekend and bought enough spins to get me enough fragments to make 8 full amulets (during those spins I also received yet another fish mask, which I converted to cash) which all resulted in about 40-ish mil. I still have 4 or so fragments left over for a little extra cash if needed.
I'm not complaining about that, far from it. I am however a little frustrated that you would dust that under the carpet with the same generic answer when in reality, it is much greater/more likely than you make out. You'd make a great politician. ;)

"You WILL be able to get Solomon’s store stuff just by being a loyal member and the team hope to be able to announce more details about this shortly, sadly I can’t give you a time scale as to when we will see the loyalty programme and rewards finalised as they are currently being planned out. "
This is great news! Hopefully the details as to this will be released soon. Obtaining runecoins through member's loyalty has been something many players have been asking for quite a while now.
@ Any Jmod who works with the SOF - Does Jagex plan on ever releasing the probability of obtaining each reward on the SOF? For instance, the actual statistics like 1/2,500 chance of receiving a super rare reward item?
Also, does Jagex plan on making some of the rarer cosmetic items like the 'Swag bag' more obtainable in the future through an SOF promotion?

I am quite pleased with these answers. I especially am glad to hear that the Loyalty Program will tie in with Runecoins and such somehow.
As for the game bringing in more gold via SOF - I'm sure Jagex will find a way to introduce a money sink into the economy to help deflate prices - they have done so in the past. It's quite common for games to look for systems such as this to make sure the game doesn't have a massive influx of a resource.
A game in the past did this, but it was with material, not income. Only a limited amount of material was available to make items with, and once it was used up, it was gone. The plan was for those items to be used for combat purposes and degrade and brought back into the game's resource pool from being used.
Instead players hoarded the weapons and charged ludicrous amounts for them. The developers had to introduce resources brought in at certain intervals to help prevent a similar situation occurring that caused their game to stagnate.
I am pleased that Jagex is wary of things like this as possibilities and taking measures to try and prevent any similar sort of scenario.

Pappous - I don't think there are currently any plans to release probability tables for the squeal of fortune. As for cosmetic items increasing in drop rate, We have done so in the past for some promotions, so who knows what is in store for the future? ;)
Aeroxmaster - If you mean the actual coins themselves, rather than the banner promotion, you still have plenty of time to use them (Generally around 3 months)!
