Im not sure if this has been answered or not and if it has im sorry. But can we get a toggle option so i dont have to see that dancing goblin every time i log in, if i dont use my spins. I know if that icon wasnt there i would not use my spins i only use em so i dont have to see him.
Would be nice if i didnt have to see him if i didnt want too.
Also could you make it so if you ignore someone or have public off you dont see the fishing spots talking or an achievement banner i know people bought the banner even though you slowed it down (thanks for that it was super annoying before) i still dont like seeing the spam from banners or fishing spots every few seconds.

Still too many. I mean, the SoF and SGS should make up, what.....01% of the Runescape experience? Have only one person working on it occassionally or get rid of it. I'd be happier if those four people were working on new quests, revamping dead minigames, building the Eastern Lands, fixing the endless lag, making (a) new skill(s), helping the poor female models that just got destroyed, etc... I could go on forever!

it's sad to see the mod say that many anti SOF ragers have bought a lot of spins not sure that is true as have no proof.
think that there has been a lot less raging because we told you why it is rubbish why it was not at all good for the game sending out the wrong sorts of grey messages attracting the wrong sort of players to the game and we were ignored or talked down to , so we gave up and left.
It says a lot about the way the game is going when they say that they don't want new players put off playing because they are trapped by the baker shop lady ? em ? how are they going to manage quests if they can't even work that one out? or are we going to see all quests and future content dumbed down to cater exclusively for the 'instant' generation, which I would like to point out is only one part of the player population.
not sure about the argument that one should only care about what one does in the game and what others do is irrelevant, if they chose to buy spins for an instant xp fix or bot to gain xp or bank and get up to stupid stuff in game and out for real life profit ,its irrelevant?
all I know is the one is 'legal' according to Jagex and the other is not , the shades of grey at jagex 2012 seem to shift according with the type of players they are currently targeting to attract.
This player lost all motivation four lvls of max when you brought out buyable spins with xp lamps , there just did not seem any point in being maxed if all i needed to do to get there was get out my card and buy it.
Of couse the game is about more than just getting maxed and there is a lot of other content to enjoy but if it's just targeted in the future towards instant gratification of players who hardly know anything about the game and wish to put no effort into learning about it then the future is rather bleak.
would also like to point out that what made the good parts of Runescape in the past were players who were more than just instant fix types, doing stuff that required effort

Honestly when looking at the Bot Live Stream that Jagex did on their RuneScape Youtube Channel with Mod Mark, Mod MMG and Mod Paul M (The Host of the Live Stream), Mod Mark have started that it is hard to recognize a Bot once they have log in or Created a account. Until it preforms Bot like behavior then they can tell that it is a Bot.
One thing that I would like to mention is that mostly All Adbots that PM you would never ever be the Same one once they have made that 1st message. (If it is the same one for you ever time then you can easily ignore it .) So one thing that should be running in your head and one thing you should think about if you was Working with Jagex in this field,
"How do you prevent a Bot from sending its Text before it ever Reaches the Player PM?" "How do you ensure that its really a Bot when it only send that ad to one person then logs out?"
Note: Once it send that Message why would there be a Need to ban it when it would never log in again unless that Account has be Hijacked?
So honestly if you can understand that then you can understand that Jagex is Trying its best to prevent this with out putting a Bunch of Limitations on new accounts or even all accounts in general when it comes to Sending a PM.
If I was working at Jagex thinking about that would be really stressful... The only way to prevent Messages being sent is to have a Delay in it and allow the text to be Scanned before it is sent to the Player PM.
Would we really want a Long delay in PMs? Because trust me their will be delays in PM's when a lot of Player are sending PM's which are being Scanned and queued up which would means 5mins maybe 30mins before that Pm reaches someone.
So people really need to Understand this and I wish I was working for Jagex so I can help Solve this. I really like having my PM's open so people can freely Massage me with Questions or concerns about things or maybe asking for help.

Hi, I'm a little late for my question but, this is a quote of what was said:
"the odds, the rarity of winning something really meaningful at a high level, either gold or XP are actually quite low"
That's a direct quote of lamps and gold being in SOF and not really affecting the game.
I want to know, if it isn't such a big deal having lamps and getting gold from SOF and that it wont affect the game so much WHY didn't people with Quest Capes get spins for the quests already done? I mean surely you can now give them.
I'd really like an answer.
