Hi Timbo,
I am a member of Runescape Dinasty currently. A lot of the information in this article is inaccurate. If you want to learn about the serious clan scene come around Runescape Community, where you can learn a lot about top clans these days.
Taking information from tip.it isn't the best idea considering the former Clan Discussion leader isn't even in a PKing clan, she was a leader of a Slayer Skill clan (as well their forums are mainly focussed on top 40 CWA clans) Although taking digs on Tip.it isn't exactly my goal. The RSC CD Team keeps the CD forum in tip-top shape, if you could come and take a look at RSDCD I'm sure you'll enjoy the information you can learn from there.

Ye I know, like that general who lost all those battles but whose name is synonymous with master strategists everywhere
Oh wait, that didn't happen because it would be too detailed to come up with every clan that tried break the top 10 and didn't, so if you're not at the top of that list, or at the very least made a significant contribution, chances are your clans name isn't going to be listed.
Secondly, if whoever compiled this forgot to mention clans like BDK and MI, I think Mori,Dragonwood etc etc rank much lower along the scale.
OT, dates are a bit off like with DS opening and closing, and some history's a bit off, but that's bound to be the case because everyone remembers the past differently, though jagex could've done a better job on their facts in some cases.

I like how the blog only aims to pvp and wilderness. Jagex is proud that they brought the wildy back and are still telling us every day (trough a tip.it article). How about a skiller clan guide over the last years next week jagex? I'd like to see both so that I can compare... Im not too amused with a one sided story sorry.

Stop complaining about Skilling Clans not being appreciated lol, every two weeks there's a skilling update one way or another and you guys can have all the fun you want with that.
The PvP Clan World has been shoved aside over the past 3/4 years. This last update on bringing the wilderness back has been the biggest Clan update previous to returning of a few PvP worlds. Unlike Skilling clans where you guys continue to get additions to skills, if not new skills in general.

OT:
I guess I'm somewhat appreciative that you guys are making some sort of effort to acknowledge the PvP clan world, but all seriousness aside. Stop being so uptight about ******, the beef is so stupid that you can't even come up to RSC and try to get a FACTUAL ACCURATE description of the real Clan World events that have been happening.
I'm sure RSC wouldn't hold any hard feelings if ONE, just ONE representative Jagex Mod came to RSC Clan Discussion and posted a thread asking for dramatic/important events in the previous years of the clan world. It'd be much more effective, as you're speaking with those participating in our clan world upfront, no need to go to some other person who's basing their story off a third party perspective based off rumors and stories.
Just swallow your pride, many of us will appreciate the concern. and i'm sure it wouldn't take too much effort too compile all the events posted on the thread and actually make a database article on the clan worlds history with quotes from actual people who we're apart of the clan worlds digression.
We know you read RSC. Just do it, you'll probably achieve much more respect off our community doing so.
