The nostalgia is piercing my nostrils right now. I started playing Runescape in 2003 after watching my brothers play and enjoy the game. It was very intriguing to read Andrew's answers and gain even more insight into the game.

Oh the nostalgia is overwhelming reading this! I loved Runescape Classic and I remember quitting for a little bit when Rs2 came out simply because the graphics were so different. Great thread I think many people will find great enjoyment reading this article I know I did. :)

Am I the only one who thought it was interesting that Andrew said that the combat system was already how he'd wanted it and never mentioned any combat rework he wishes he could do? Yet we've got a massive combat rework on the way that apparently Jagex has wanted for a long time.

Thanks for having the RuneScape idea, it's definetly a part of my childhood, friend's childhood too. I still have really long talks remembering rs classic. It was harder, and less popular, but the memories are just breathtaking, I really mean it. Once I found a rune kite on the floor and I felt like I won the lottery.
