Mat K spent two and half hours in the Dominion Tower fighting his way through the bosses. He equipped himself in a set of Torva with, Bandos boots, a fire cape and a chaotic longsword and kiteshield (there was some jewellery being worn too, although he would never publicly admit to wearing any. Packed in his inventory was some brews, restores, super prayer pots and rocktails as well as some runes and a rune crossbow.
The first boss to appear was Sigmund and the majority of the first battle consisted of Mat trying to remember how to get rid of his prayer protection¦.. finally one quick thwack with the Ancient Mace special sped him on his way. Next was Chronozon, and although having to hit him with all four elemental spells while dressed in Torva was not easy, he was dealt with swiftly enough. Many more bosses came and went falling under Mat's chaotic longsword until the first real challenge came along -“ Damis, Fareed, Kamil and Dessous. Now these guys are hard enough on their own but all four together was just taking the biscuit, of course it had to be floor 13. These four fell eventually, the lack of ice gloves made it particularly tricky.
More bosses kept falling until the next notable event, on floor 20 the Evil Chicken made its appearance, it wasn't a challenge more of a nice piece of recollection. Bwuak bwuak FLEE FROM ME!
The next notable event was on floor 27 when Elvarg turned up. If you had noticed earlier you will see that there was no anti dragonbreath shield or potions mentioned above¦ so Elvarg turned Mat into a bonfire, just in time for November the 5th too, how apt. The moral of the story is where there may be dragons there should also be an anti dragonbreath shield.
So, the final result for Mat K in the endurance challenge is floor 27 in two and a half hours - and would have been much further had he had a shield. D'oh.
