Nomad was interesting, but I have a feeling he was just not enough. Therefore, I propose the following:
Rematch Nomad. He has the same attacks, defence, and lifepoints as last time. Since his magic hits through prayer, it's time to require protection prayer.
My suggestion is as follows:
Implement 2 standing statues (or immobile NPC's). Both are level 500 with 5000 LP, and the 1st statue cannot be attacked until Nomad is dead. The 2nd statue cannot be attacked until the 1st statue is dead. The statue's attack as follows:
1:The first one uses a Jad-like attack that attacks the player at 3/4 or 1/2 the speed of Jad's attacks and hits a maximum of... 1400 AND a minimum of 800 so that it can one hit any players using life-boosting artifacts as well as any soaking armor. I haven't decided on this: but PERHAPS when the statue reaches 50% health, there is a 10% chance the attack hits through prayer (only hitting up to 900 in that case, and cannot happen twice in a row).
AND
2: The second one uses a Spirit Beast like attack. Get out of the claw's radius or suffer a OHKO. It cannot attack during Nomad's 750 LP attack OR during Nomad's deadliest attack. If the first statue is dead, then the claws will spawn into level 50 energy elementals that hit rapid 20s.
Of course, familiars are allowed. As for partners: perhaps if Nomad has his HP doubled, then up to 2 people can fight this boss (statue 1 targets both of them, and statue 2 fires just like the Spirit Beast did).
