Well Saskue X2, it`s a good update if you like to exclude and discriminate some people and their languages.
I haven`t heard so much from the people I used to talk to in my former forum, so I doubt very much that the new community will be so much bigger and better. I think it will be smaller after the update.
If Jagex wants a bigger and better community why do they allow so many clans then? Many players only talk in their clan and not in the forum.

Loving the "active" French and Dutch forums, 2 and 0 active users at the moment, just admitt Jagex this was stupid, I am originally from Spain, and used to love posting both, in the english and spanish forums, now you have deleted it, you have deleted a comunity, and you have deleted a source of future income...

I support what has happened, tho I believe it is important to have an area for people who were part of the different communities too go. You do play Runescape in game play in English, and you are now part of a bigger community which you were realistically already part of. It isn't Jagex separating you from your community as a negative thing, they are doing it as a business move. Things need to be done sometimes, people need to learn to not take things so personally. The game has never had anything to do about where your from who you are or anything like that. You play the game to do just that, play the game. There are clans in game play to join hands with, just cause you lost a forum don't be upset. There are ways to still keep in contact. Not gunna lie, I would be upset too if that was my language that was removed. But when you decided to play the game it was in English, having a community with your language was a perk. Sometimes depending on situations perks get removed, because it makes more sense and people are going to get hurt. Try to keep your chins up and stay positive, join a clan or create one in game in order to satisfy your need to speak in your native tongue.
Remember its a game, don't take it personally...You didn't join to complain about not having a place to speak in your language. You joined to be part of the Runescape community, a large community created in order for people around the world to enjoy a game which happens to be in English.
Respect :D

Hmmm….Cosmic Love. I ‘am talking about the Forum and not the game. In the game I can talk my language. But in the Forum I can’t do that anymore. If it was a business move to remove all those Forums then tell us that. It`s easier to accept, understand and support the truth. But I have never heard Jagex say that. As you wrote, everyone have to play the game in English, so let us keep the English Forum and remove all the other Forums as well. It would be so much better for everyone to have one big united community. But I guess some native tongues have a higher value and rank than other native tongues.

The Game is getting better and better and I still enjoy playing Runescape, but the Forum has excluded some languages and kept some. And for many people was this a downgrade rather than an upgrade. As Mod Stevew wrote about the update:”together we can make RuneScape even more enjoyable for everyone”. So by removing some languages from the Forum will make it more enjoyable for everyone.

That`s why a few friends and I canceled the trip to the RuneFest. Because we might accidently say something in our strange language at the Fest, and then Jagex will have to remove us so It can be a more enjoyable RuneFest for everyone. ( Joke :D )

@Stevew
"Although the game is not translated into Dutch, the Dutch community is so large and well established, that we will also continue to offer Dutch language support as before, and even bring in a new Dutch speaking J Mod to help us to deliver the best possible experience for the Dutch community."
Yeah, way to go Jagex, kicking out a Dutch jmod and bringing back a new one. So now we have no jmod, and letting the Dutch fmods control the Dutch forums. How should I call this? Fake promises?
@ Cosmic
In game it's my choice to talk whatever language I want, on the forums it's not aloud to talk a different language then English. You got the difference?

"But when you decided to play the game it was in English, having a community with your language was a perk. Sometimes depending on situations perks get removed, because it makes more sense and people are going to get hurt."
Jagex was only running out of cash and kicked some jmods out so they're negative balance is gone. The whole story Stevew is telling is a lie. Explain me why they kicked a Dutch jmod out that was doing very well? With the promise for a new even better Dutch jmod they don't make things right.

At this dates our Dutch jmods got kicked out or left Jagex for various reasons. If you think about it? How long the Dutch community is out there? I think the shorts periods of time says enough about Jagex.
