I saw two names that I liked earlier... Nigel and Vladimir. Just saying. I've got a few suggestions myself:
Geomancer. (He wouldn't have a name, as he's a slave)
Sharp Head. (He appears to be smart for a hobgoblin)
Scar ("Grotesque" or "Ugly" could also go here)Hands. (He appeared to dig a lot)
T'ra Abo. ("Terra Abeo" is Earth Changer in Latin)
