So, at the beginning of the competition, I asked if we could use copyrighted music in our videos. You all said no, as it is illegal and against YouTube's rules. Therefore, I did not make a video
*watches 10 finalists*
Over half of them used copyrighted music. Can someone explain how this works to me, please?
Are we allowed to use copyrighted music or not? We are to follow YouTube's rules, yet these videos did not.

I voted for #6. It was really original (used an item for something completely else than it was intended for) I was sort of tied with 9, because it did something similar. Though #6 had me convinced to buy a cannon. It's nice to see that a number of videos are somewhat tied though.

im gonna tell what i think:
1. i liked the idea of how the video maded
2. i didn't like it, but i did love the quality of the video
3. i did enjoy this one, but its not my favorite
4. haha, i did laugh at this one, it was really good
5. mhm, this one was not bad....but i didn't like it that much
6. good editted, but i didn't like it also
7. this one was with video 10 my least favorite
8. this one did rock! i liked it very much and it was my favorite
9. not bad...

I have a question, would it be against the rules if you copied an actual commercial almost exactly.. The tune/idea? And if you just changed it up a bit, like changing it from one subject to something on RS?

They never said I couldn't use a song from another commercial. I thought it was a great idea. I don't believe it was copyrighted though. It was a free download from the site itself saying it can be used to show off my voice.

All commercials should be copyrighted. I've been in the acting business *commercials, short films* so I think I know... I don't think it was very original either, considering that there is a commercial exactly like that already made in real life.
Plus, I'm guessing it took you like 20 minutes to make it? Standing around in lumbridge.. :/
Sorry if I'm being harsh, I did like the video. I just think there are others that deserve it a bit more, like the one with the future emotes of RS.

I agree, Moray007. Pabloteletubi's entry should have been in the top 10. There was one that shouldn't have even made it to the top 10 but I wont name anyone.
I wish he kept "Noobs to go" as his entry though, but Boots of Lightness was cool how he recreated RuneScape.

I do agree that the boots of lightness one should have made it to the final 10.
Besides that, I've been having trouble even getting a vid up on YouTube. I am repeatedly told I should change the .avi to wmv but whenever I try, only 2 seconds of the video are actually converted. If anyone has a good way to change the video format, please tell me.
