@playback14. Your friend should have thought about the problems of choosing an offensive name when he started. :( Sorry. Jagex rules state that you cannot have offensive names, so it breaks the game rules and the video contest rules

Hello I'm Blaknite12 and I will be winning this year's machinima competition.
In making my video I have come up with a small issue.
I need to somehow simulate farming, or actually farm but the problem is I am f2p. Can anyone help me come up with any way to simulate farming (i.e. a quest where you grow something, a minigame where you grow something, basicly anything in the f2p world where I can grow something, it doesn't necessarily have to be farming, but it must be plant related).
Also a question I have... do I risk disqualification if I use the phrase "fml" (meaning funny monkey laugh) in my video?
Also I will be needing actors, specifically high level actors or just someone with an impressive looking outfit in game. Be sure to add me if you are interested and send me a message in game if you would like to help. (preferably a member)

Is there anyone i can run my idea through because i don't know if i can still enter this ?
I'm relating my idea to something in runescape, although its not really something that actually exists in runescape.
For example, if i wanted to do something like "Join the Save the Earth Program" by planting trees or something. that program is not real in runescape, but will i still be able to do that?

I still didn't got a formal answer from j-mod so I need to write my problem again
few days ago I send request to replace my entery to the mail on the top but I still didn't got responce and my corrent entery without the sound stop getting views so I would like to know if you accept to change my enery thank you very much

Free legal software im afraid is quite shocking quality. There are illegal easy ways to get the top editing tools. But I do not suggest that so much as it's very 'naughty'. Otherwise you're just gonna have to go to some computer store and are gonna have to buy the software if you're planning on taking video making seriously.
Good software for recording screen: Camtasia 6
Good software for editing: Sony Vegas Pro 8.0/9.0

Rules do say 'something that is found in runescape'. So I would recomend you do not invent something like that. Although it is a great Idea, I would not take the chance as the rules do say that you are not allowed to invent something.

Not entirely true Bumbum ... Fraps has a free version that lets you shoot in 30 second clips (more than adequate). You can crop out the watermark with a decent editor.
Vegas Movie Studio has most of the qualities of Vegas Pro, and is about $500 cheaper. I got mine for $40, and you can probably shop around for similar software that might be cheaper.

And in the video I am advertising something within Runescape.
Excl, or any mod is there a way I can talk to you in a cc or something just to tell you my idea so you can tell me if its against the rules or not. I dont wanna say my idea because other people might take it =X
EDIT: And on 2 of excl's examples he advertised something that wasn't real. Like the pot.
