what about a politcal ad, about someone running for runescape president, or king of draynor

I've got two questions for the new competition:
1. Does the 30 seconds time limit only for the add or is it for the hole movie? (with generics or whatever text we'd like to add)
2. Can we make derivés of in-game products? For example, to sell banana juice?

30 seconds applies to the entire video, so if you hit 31 seconds you will be disqualified!
As for derivés, I believe that would be okay as long as you show actual items, such as a bananna if you can, since the Ad must to include something featured in RuneScape that you are advertising. If it's only a picture of something fixed to look as though it's in RuneScape, I don't think they will accept your entry so keep that in mind.
