Hello there, mentors and various experienced producers :p
I have 2 questions right now, since I'm gonna try to participe and not loose this opportunity twice!
1) Can anybody confirm that making an ad for the whole RuneScape is allowed and eligible?
2) I'd like to record myself irl. Though I've got no camera, but only my phone and my computer's webcam. And my problem is sound. How can I record a clear sound, if I'm recording myself from some distance. I mean... My phone microphone will probably be noisy.
Should I record myself, moving my lips, then record my voice only and put the sound over the image on my computer?
Or... Any good solution?

You might want to search for a guide on how to correctly download fonts and place them in your fonts folder if you have not done this before. Once you have done that, there are different types... such as .FON or .TTF (and probably more), but depending on which it is they might not all work with Vegas.

1) Can anybody confirm that making an ad for the whole RuneScape is allowed and eligible? Yes. You can make an ad about anything on the game, even if it is the whole of runescape :D

How can I record a clear sound, if I'm recording myself from some distance. I mean... My phone microphone will probably be noisy. Not sure if you can do it IRL. Try a computer microphone for recording with sound. There alot clearer.

Yes because Runescape is in Runescape. There's no rule against it, that I've read.

No idea, if you got a microphone for your computer, do a sound dub. Though a lot of people will say "ITZ MACHINIMA U CANNUT USE IRL CLIPS", I think you can use a small amount of IRL clips depending if it's really needed. (Not sure)

@Moustaj - I'd say you should make an ad just for an in-game item. Not the game itself. =)
As for recording yourself ... it's a "machinima" competition, meaning it's supposed to be a video that uses the game engine itself. Otherwise, it would just be a video contest. =)
