The hope was to try and increase the number of things accepted and share ideas, I completely understand not wanting to add to the list of rules (that being said I think half the issue there is how vague the rules have become making them easy to abuse). Yes and no, the vague rules mentioned above have allowed certain rpers to impose very strict expectations on the community as the rules are so open to interpretation (they can mean whatever they want them to mean). "The greatest endeavors are achieved because of their selfless intent"

I don't tend to think in terms of actual conspiracies, W42 lacks that level of coordination and in any case more of the people I'd accuse of this sort of tactic are way too dull to do anything that exciting.

I'm thinking of things such as the current unwritten rule:

"Don't be rofly"

A rule stated on no thread, no website but quoted in one form or another by a number of people on w42 and considered a blacklistable (or whatever you choose to call the fact that you aren't acknowledging someone's actions) offense.
Unfortunately it has no definition other than in some vague sense meaning that you are RPing in a manner that the person quoting it believes (or claims to believe) is not legitimate.

You might find the rules quite easy to understand. Most of the community more open than you might think as long there's some resemblance of lore either being used, or slightly bent to make things work out for said player. Yet again, this is you speaking out because literally nobody enjoys you and you thinking that it's """Some massive conspiracy"""

Rofl (adjective)- Something so outlandish, so utterly ridiculous that it defies all common sense or logical progression. Often a sign of complete and utter disrespect, as it's generally impossible to not be aware that it's stupid.

Examples;

Ducking a leg sweep
Backflipping over somebody in full armor
Resurrecting something that becomes an abstract concept on death
Rolling from a standstill
Blocking something behind you without turning around
Playing a demi-god tier being as going to a public, mortal bar for a drink while in the form of their demi-god self
Having a tool that produces unlimited energy (In a universe where such a thing is highly sought after by the most powerful creatures in-universe)

Proving my point that the word rofl can be applied to just about anything by explaining that it is a completely subjective term with a definition that can be applied to virtually anything. "The greatest endeavors are achieved because of their selfless intent"
