I am Argrevian, know ye my colours?
the flag floats blue and white before me;
that which for freedom's sake my forefathers died,
to that, know, hint my colours.
Never will I trembling quail,
as those foe will I dare attack me.
Be it a rainy day, be it cheerful sunshine,
I am Agrevian, desire nothing to be but Argrevian.
With affection and loyalty I approach the Throne,
from which gently a Father talks to me;
and as the Father is faithful to his son,
as will I be faithful with him and falter not.
the bonds of affection are firm.
Hail my mighty Fatherland!
The Emperor's call penetrates my heart so deep:
I am Agrevian, desire nothing to be but Argrevian.
The Asgarnian star shines brightly over your large extent,
the Imperial eagle flies ahead of the clouds,
the Empire's standard blows wistfully in your corners,
the soldier's sword is raised to the victories of your past.
And high on Argevia's Throne
in the lustre of Edward's crown
rule us our Emperor, strong and mild,
and every Argrevian chest to him one shield!
