Great monoliths of smooth stone fall from the sky and land gently, thrumming with arcane power. Four in total with loci near three of the human kingdoms: west of Varrock, north of Edgeville, east of Falador, and south of Ardougne. The energy within these monoliths spawn portals to a world very much unlike our own.

Elysium awaits.

Endridelor the wonder boy is looking for new hires off-world, specifically those from Gielinor. Rumour has it that the dwarf has found a new and untouched deposit of sacred clay in the Great Dessert Desert, and is even offering a share of the profit to those who help him establish a mining operation.

It was never about winning. It was about survival.

Contrary to what many are led to believe, strength isn't found through victory alone. True power is borne through hardship and sacrifice. The grinding of meat and bone, the spilling of sweat and blood. To achieve what so few ever experience for themselves: The power of a God.

But even divinity can't compare to the warm embrace of a loved one.

Lies. Mistrust. Duplicity. Common tools of a creature without compunction, or perhaps one who was given no choice in the matter.

Murder. Betrayal. Apathy. No excuses. No absolution.

To Err Is Divine; to forgive, human. Where do you begin to forgive yourself? The future is as written in stone as the past. One cannot change this. However, one can change the nature of oneself. Monsters aren't always born after all, and heroes aren't always made. This is what I believe. The line between saint and devil starts to blur when our actions determine the fate of entire worlds.

We are all of us responsible for the choices we make, for the lives we take, and the hearts we break. I would have done things differently had I the choice of what role I was made to play. I don't seek forgiveness from those I hurt because I don't deserve it. I became the very monster I sought to destroy.
