Weekly Update

Weekly Weather:
Duneday (Wed) – 13°C and partly sunny with some showers
Gullday (Thur) – 13°C and mostly sunny with a shower.
Erysail (Fri) – 16°C and mostly sunny.
Twilbrick (Sat) – 16°C and mostly sunny.
Essinaday (Sun) – 17°C and sunny.

Role-Play Events:
Thursday (21/12) – The Winter Solstice Ball hosted by Aro. It starts at 7pm EST and we’d recommend joining our discord for the music bot as it will add to the atmosphere. Only members and friends of the Tower are invited and they may bring a guest as long as they let the Archmage know beforehand.

Friday (22/12) – The second part of Gem Hunt. This session will be GMed by both Nat/Filianore and myself. Celeste will announce her findings of the first Gem the tower acquired and announce the quest to collect them all, starting with the Earth Gem. This session will start at Wizards’ Tower at 7pm EST.

Saturday (23/12) – Celeste will be taking a number of volunteers to explore the site of a recent attack on a Karamjan village. Locals have reported the use of dark forbidden magic at use and want the Wizards’ Tower to locate its source and put a stop to it. This role-play is a one-off event and will begin at Wizards' Tower at 7pm EST.

Wizards' Tower

Island Update

Members of the Tower would have noticed an increase in security. Defensive wards and barriers were erected overnight while two squads of Battle Rune Guardians and Slate Golems where brought in.
By order of the Archmage, a tele-block barrier was erected over the island and bridge, preventing teleporting to the island. Three barriers preventing people and objects from crossing have been installed at both ends of the Tower Bridge and the Island itself. Rune Guardians guard the entrances to the tower and will grant members and trusted individuals access to the tower.

The Fairy Ring has been damaged with, breaking its connection to the network.

At an assembly, the Archmage has announced the recent war between Asgarnia’s Saradominists and Zamorakians are a cause of concern and therefore the Tower is making sure any attempts to bring their war to Misthalin’s borders or to the Island itself that the safety of the Tower’s Wizards is a priority.

Though rumours have it that some Wizards and the Archmage herself have made the Tower a target after several encounters with a deranged mage.

Gem Hunt
Chapter Four: Fire

This event will start at Wizards' Tower's Ground Floor with the date and time to be announced. This event will involve combat and character death is possible if they decide to partake in combat.

This will also serve as the last part of the Gem Hunt plot and a 3-hour session is planned. If we do go over time I'll split up the session into a two-parter then.
