I do have a question however what are your thoughts on Katars or Punch daggers being used as a way to penetrate plate, I think they would I do value your opinion on this however so I thought I would ask?
May the North Star guide you safely home.

Knives are historically shown for penetrating plate, and thinking of the Katars you mentioned - the only one I've handled being a replica of the kind used in India certainly seemed like it would have the same performance. Glad to see an increase in use.
One example of using a katar, is having the hand inconspicuously buried in the folds of a robe, then delivering an upward strike underneath the ribs and into something important (no plate), gaps between plates such as the neck (mail won't be saving them), or as you asked, using them as an enhancement for punches. Wrap an arm around them (neck, waist, torso, etc.) to help pull the knight into the blade in the process for a bit more force and brutality than without.
This would have come in such handyness a day prior to this post.
Do you think maybe adding the capabilities of lesser armors in short paragraphs where you have the space? it seems many get confused about them. (like chainmail is FOR SLASHING, NOT PEIRCING.)

Could probably do that, I'll work on it this evening while roleplaying. It'll be a pretty choppy addition, but if I focus on quality, it'll end up being a near-permanent ''work in progress'' like the revised editions I'm working on.
EDIT: Request done, forgot to chastise you for saying ''chainmail''.
Some smart person should go make sure I have the general details in that post right. It's late, we all know sleep deprivation results in the best posts ever.
