As of this message, anything Aren related that has been done with this alternate canon of Kandarin player owned kingdom is null... and Void. For all the worth that my word has, I bestow upon you my honest and truthful criticism so you know exactly how to make to make everything you do better in the end.

Firstly, do not send spies upon people and groups out of character, to even conceive the notion that receiving out of character information via espionage is okay and to push it off as 'They came to us of their own volition' and to deny that you still accepted the information, whilst proof says otherwise, tells that you are going to do something with that information, whether to metagame or whatever. Its distasteful. Even I, who has ears in every little corner in the role-play world, would be embarrassed at the notion that someone would even accuse me of using those ears for my own personal agenda. It literally is just role-play, it doesn't need to be politics.

Secondly, I have seen undeniable proof of an admin of this group being okay with role-playing another persons character without their permission. I assume I don't need to explain this forbidden act as one of the very few cardinal sins that most role-players take to heart, but for you on-lookers that are indeed looking at this thread, it is called Godmodding and it is genuinely abhorrent.

I really do hope you take these two points I've made to heart, soak it in before I go forward and away from this political frenzy of a forum thread. Assumedly, I don't have to point out the other problems this role-play group has concerning most everything that was mentioned before.

In case you were wondering what normal role-play rules are, look at the sticky called 'In-game Roleplay Quide & Help' right at the top of the ingame roleplay forum, you really can't miss it.

The Zamorakian preacher, known only as “Viktor”, is hereby charged by His Majesty’s Crown Prosecution Service with the following charges:

• One count of Major negligent use of magic in a public space
• Two counts of Assault
• One count of Disturbing the Peace

“Viktor” is described as of fair complexion and with black hair. He was last seen on the 25 of Pentember, performing Zamorakian sermons within the heart of Ardougne's Grand Market, wearing battlemage attire matching that worn by the Kinshra order.

DO NOT APPROACH: He is armed with offensive arcane knowledge, and has access to runes or runic energy.


Anyone with information should approach their nearest guard or royal representative. To facilitate the smooth transition of justice, a bounty of 3,500 gold pieces have been issued by the Kingdom, for information leading to the capture of this man, or for his direct handover to authorities in a condition suitable for the trial.

This sum may be reduced at the discretion of the crown, in the event of the accused’s injuries or death. Identifiable remains must be presented in the case of the latter scenario for a valid claim.

It is the moral responsibility of the general public to report any sightings of this individual to your local Civil Guard. Failure to do so may be considered a violation of the Criminal Code, under the charge of perverting the course of justice.

The Lord of Norwasten has declared that the Duchy shall open its northern frontier to oncoming Fremennik settlers who will bring with them their laws, customs and traditions which shall be protected within the Duchy of Norwasten.

Following a tiring day of paperwork and handling the overflowing affairs of the Civil Service, King Percival was surprised to see King Jeoffery of Asgarnia walk into his court, without escort or forewarning. There were warm greetings between the two monarchs, who had worked together to secure Kandarin’s Raktober revolution, though the Faladorian Ambassador didn’t approve of her king showing up without prior notice.

Onto business, King Jeoffery was acting on the behalf of the Legends Guild in regards to its concerns over Percival’s policy on their independence, explaining that the Imperial Family essentially nationalised them for their war efforts. Percival assured Jeoffrey that their independence, and the independence of the nations they were situated in, was guaranteed under his rule once they had been audited for embezzlement and lingering loyalties to the old regime.

Just after the court ended, the King was informed that the Duke of Norwasten had been found dead by foragers on the western slopes of White Wolf Mountain, brutally savaged across his entire body with deep cuts. Investigations are ongoing, but for the time being, Home Rule over the duchy was being instituted until a new Duke or Duchess is anointed.
