I'm completely on board with this, so long as there is no "OOC council" or what have you. So long as this remains as an initiative to put NPCs in charge, and more of a mutual agreement I'm game.

Reason why I wouldn't support an OOC council or something of that matter is in my eyes, you'd put yourself back to square one with petty poltics and drama plaguing the rp scene.

Yeah, even the idea of an OOC council sounds awful before any details have been discussed or proposed. That and it would easily become a "If you're pally with one or so people on the council, you can do whatever".

Offtopic though, regardless I'm amazed at the amount of support this initiative has garnered, and am proud of CrocoNuts' commitment to making this a thing that exists in the public sphere.

Also, thanks all for the support, both from posters and people reaching out to me through a personal message on Discord/In-game.
I've hopefully cemented the ideals of this initiative into the sticky I'm allowed to host well enough for this scene of NPC rulers to be seen as a legitimate part of the roleplay community here on RuneScape.



I will continue to campaign some more for this Jagex Canon and will leave this thread open for the rest of the month so that people can use it to declare their support for it. I'm happy to see that even old POK-leaders and even one current POK leader are thoughtful and supportive about this initiative. Maybe more will follow! We'll see. Not going to force anything.


Please do continue with your current ethics and behavior regarding this subject, it's going well and I couldn't be happier with how we all handled it. We all, as in both supporters and non-supporters! Thanks everyone. Quickly learn how to Roleplay on RuneScape!
