Draynor update





With the Island of Mos Le’Harmless slowly transforming into a trading post for the merchant ships of Misthalin and the Craven Company, not everything is going according to plan. Concern grew amongst the nautical travellers if the count could be deemed capable of making sure everything runs smoothly on the island. Daisy honestly admitted that she indeed lacked experience and on the spot, revealed to the audience
the position of Portmaster
was still open.

Soon, the countess would receive applications from sailors, merchants and even pirates. Daisy would sit down with each and every one of them for a small interview and when the applications end she’ll pick someone.

Will you agree to work on behalf of Misthalin: With the exception of performing or openly aiding military operations, H.M.E. makes a point to operate with integrity and loyalty to contracts and consumers. It will, however, remain neutral of direct involvement in open political and religious conflicts in standing with these values with the exception of humanitarian relief and evacuation assistance in such times.

The trial has been concluded and it would be made public that Lord Robard was found guilty and sentenced to death by the judge.

1,000 gold coins are being offered in exchange for information that leads to his capture.

A letter was delivered days after the notifications of bounty were sent out, the seal of the Dutchy of Camelot stamped neatly upon it's exterior.

To His Majesty, James the Second, King of Misthalin,

When I left the realm some 15 years ago Varrock was in shambles, we had not discovered the outer isles, the Kharidian Desert was not passable and the wilderness was unable to be tamed. Now upon my return, under your rule, I see that the unthinkable has been accomplished. The City has been rebuilt to its great glory and is being improved each fortnight, the land is prosperous and fields fertile.

I resided as a Knight of Lumbridge before I left and am here to pledge fealty to the new king of Misthalin in whatever capacity the king sees fit for me! I wish to see this fine kingdom grow and prosper and never see the reign that it did before!

Preparing for War

With the King having been warned about an impending threat of invasion he has ordered the conscription of a significant portion of the realm's available men into a standing army with which to repel the attack. The army is already moving south and will begin training drills shortly.

An Echo of Freedom

Freedom. Justice. Equality. The values most prized by Armadyl and his faithful servants, including the troops King James brought down from his warband and who now serve as Knights of Misthalin. With his reign now established, King James II seeks to make his mark upon history by tearing down tyrants and righting wrongs. To this end he has begun with a small experiment, sending a small handful of his trusted knights (and other volunteers known to him) to remove a small time dictator from the world. It is time to bring the cruel and sadistic rule of the Khan of the Bay of Echoes to Justice or to an early grave. The benefits of an opportunity of establishing a new naval outpost on the island once the khan is dead are also too good to ignore.
