Saradomin is the god of order and wisdom, and is believed to be the most worshipped god on Gielinor. Additionally, he appears to be strongly associated with light as well, with various attributes, such as the Book of Light, referring to him as such.

Presently, Saradomin has a vast number of followers, most of whom believe him to be the god of good, and there are far more churches dedicated to him than to other gods. Most of his modern followers reside in Misthalin, Asgarnia, Kandarin and Entrana, but there are several groups outside these areas. Unlike those of Zamorak or Guthix, his followers consist almost entirely of humans, though that was not always the case.



Saradomin rules as King of Kings from Falador, having taken vassals in the past. He believes himself best suited to protecting his people through the principles of Ancient Feudal contracts that in turn, Asgarnia is built on. The Lord protects his vassals, and the vassals serve the Lord.

Saradominism was, for a long time, the majority faith of not just Asgarnia, but humans in the world at large. As a result, there is some divide between the devout and the loose followers, just as there is in other, widespread religions today.

Saradomin has a large impact on Asgarnia, choosing to oversee the church and the laws of his territories personally, as an absolute monarch. This has led to some tension for the territories that were largely self-ruled, such as Burthorpe or Sarim, especially when those who are not followers of Saradomin and deem his following brash and bold come into play.

The White Knights

Acting as Saradomin's main army on Gielinor and the defenders of Asgarnia, the Noble White Knights of Falador are devout Saradominists of Noble birth or title, sent to train with the Knights and become one themselves. The White Knights are staunch rivals of the Kinshra, having their roots go back to the Legendary Temple Knights of Saradomin.



The current leader of the White Knights is Sir Aimk Varze with the head of Tain's Chapter being Commander Helena Vestreth.

The Temple Knights

Spoken of in hushed whispers and a hint of fear is the Temple Knight Order, devout Saradominists who serve the God of Order and Wisdom himself. With service to Saradomin, protection of his people and their homeland, Asgarnia, the Knights roam the Kingdom as silent enforcers of Saradomin's will. Supposedly.

Many doubt their existence, especially with the stories of their members. Supposedly the World Guardian is a member. Supposedly Hayley Spears, a public figure of importance to Falador was one, and an Icyene sent by Saradomin himself by rumours. Then come rumours more preposterous than that. Stories of Temple Knights fighting off multiple Mahjarrat where even Legendary Arrav of Varrock failed to defeat one. Stories of them returning from the Dead by Saradomin's very will!

What can be said among former royals and high-Noble officials alike... The Temple Knights do exist. And they are a force to be reckoned with. Their daily operations leader is unknown to the public, but if they do exist it is safe to say they serve Saradomin himself, directly.

The following are religious authorities of Asgarnia's Saradominist Church. Abolishing the position of Divine Rector and the Crown's authority as arbiter of faith, Saradomin has taken it upon himself to lead his flock by personally selecting the Bishops of Asgarnia.

The Bishops of Asgarnia acts as a link between Saradomin and his followers. They are responsible for the administration of Asgarnia's regions, international diplomacy and spreading the good word.

The Current Bishops of Asgarnia are:
Bishop (Vacant) of Falador.
Bishop (Vacant) of Buthorpe.
Bishop (Vacant) of Sarimia.



Along with the Bishops, Asgarnia is home to other leaders within the church, being:
Mother Superior of the Poor Ladies: Abbess Helen.
Head of the Ragged Monks of Edgeville: Benedict Laud.

The Icyene

The Icyene are a race of incredibly long-lived winged beings who arrived in Gielinor before the God Wars. The Icyene are generally aligned to the god Saradomin and are some of his most powerful followers. They are originally from the realm of New Domina. On their home plane, which consists of many islands scattered throughout the ocean, many of the Icyene fulfilled various occupations from farmers to warriors, with Saradomin taking the latter with him to Gielinor. They still exist there to this day.



As a result, on Gielinor Icyene are known for their fighting prowess. Chief among them is Commander Zilyana, the strongest of the Icyene and a living legend among her people.

Icyene in Asgarnia are a rare sight, though the return of Saradomin has led to a few dozen flying between Falador castle and various battlefields and locations, spreading the word and doctrine of Saradomin.

Notably, there are three main Icyene in Asgarnia's roleplay as key figures.

Cadmas, the Bishop of Falador (Aromancer)
Eudoxia "Spears," the Warrior and Herald of Saradomin to his faithful (Lady Thalia)
and Edolas, the Bringer of Miracles (Eli)

If you have a character that wants to be involved in Icyene focused roleplay, it is best to ask these three players.
