Interesting change, what happened to Myles' pok? "The gods envy us. They envy us because we're mortal, because any moment may be our last. Everything is more beautiful because we're doomed. You will never be lovelier than you are now. We will never be here again." - Achilles, Troy

Miranda ruled for well over a decade that came to an end when she announced her plans to step aside in favor for a growing popular noble house. In the weeks following up, many begun to question why the still young Queen was stepping to the side.

Was it pride that saw her rise in rebellion all those years ago? Was it all a ploy to prove to herself that she could rule after her short and eventful first time on the throne? Even some dared to rumor that the Queen was barren and unable to produce a heir, and instead of having a succession crisis upon her death, she choose to step to the side now, and oversee the progress with the command of her strong Lumbridge army.

The now two time over former Queen retired back to her estate and land of Lothringen in Southern Lumbridge..

Who can say, anymore?

Far as I'm concerned, with our choices for POK/POC leaders, that whole aspect may as well be phased out entirely because now all we seem to have is a bunch of average at best roleplayers making stakes just because there's land available.

Average at best , how dare you . You out of all people should know that there is no scale on which you can score points to become ‘a better roleplayer' than others. Accept that people are trying to make the best out of what W42 is now or leave.

And for real; Please, stop littering the forums with this bitter, angsty and not to mention condescending commentary. We get it, there is no pleasing you, but you’ve been at it more the last few days and it is not appreciated by anyone nor does it add a constructive contribution to an already small and broken community. Seriously, take a break or quit.

I am bad and that's good, I will never be good and that's not bad, there's no one I'd rather be than me.

You are wrong. I will attempt to explain why to you.

“Who can say, anymore?”

I can say. Myles has been considering moving to OSRS per his recent forum thread and no longer feels a creative spark that once drew him to World 42. From an outside perspective, it appears Myles allowed Justin to take possession of Misthalin rather than let the kingdom waste away. If I am wrong in my assumptions, then Myles is free to correct me here.

“Far as I’m concerned”

You are not concerned, sir. Per the Merriam-Webster dictionary, concern is “marked interest or regard usually arising through a personal tie or relationship”. I see no marked interest in Misthalin here from you. Additionally I fail to see a personal tie or relationship exist between you and Myles.

“With our choices for POK/POC leaders”

They are not your choices. I chose me. Myles chose himself. And now I choose Arenaride, and Justin chooses himself.

“That whole aspect may as well be phased out entirely”

We tried that. It was called the Asgarnian Hub. Turns out, with a few noble exceptions, most people in 42’s roleplay circle really do not like to be told they must limit their roleplay based on a set criteria that did not originally arise from Runescape Roleplay. As for those few exceptions, I apologize, Theodore and Bool. Natalie tried. Tzo tried. I tried.
All that for a pile of bricks.

“All we seem to have are a bunch of average at best roleplayers”

If I am average, I pity the dedicated person who places more than 40 hours a week of time and effort into this game for the sake of being labelled “above-average”. If Arenaride is average, I pity the person who must have integrity in such great amounts that they cannot be a human being, all for the sake of being labeled “above average”. If Ovi or Sucreloha or so many amazing people I have met over my time here are average at roleplaying, then I must surely be below average.

“Making stakes just because there’s land available”

Of course we make stakes because there is land available, for otherwise, we would surely declare war on each other for all of it. We fought those text-based roleplay wars. They suck.

Think what you will.
All that for a pile of bricks.
