you would be so surprised how many people in this role-play think we mean the stereotypical "Hero" when we say this is a heroes guild.

A hero of the guild can really do anything they want, there are no restrictions or rules of morality, in the eyes of the guild a "hero" is just someone with great skill in melee archery or magic.

as long as the guilds rules arnt broken there is no restriction to what a hero can do really. just if a hero burns down a village and murders alot of people, when the guards come knocking the guild wont shield that hero, you take responsibility for your own actions.

I just want to add to that, too.

What Garth says is right, as far as renown is concerned the term "Hero" is used to define someone who has excelled in their combat talents.

However, we didn't want to define what "Hero" actually meant, on an official and public level. Why? You can teach someone the skills to become a Hero, but it's heroic deeds that make you one.

We teach people the skills they require to be heroic on a combatant level, but unless the character physically does something heroic - they're technically not a hero.

In addition, we won't force people into the mindset of being a 'good' hero. We want characters to learn and excel in their skills, but if they then choose to amass an army of Zamorakiens and invade Misthalin, for example, that choice is theirs. What they do with the skills we give them is entirely of their own devising.

And, like Garth said above, if the character does something evil or breaks laws, the Guild wont stop the guards that come for them. #TeamDaenerys

Brief History: Eddy grew up poor in southern Asgarnia, fourth of eight children in a family that struggled to feed the parents alone.
