Rest assured, I'll never just straight up have your character(s) be unable to join because they're from POK lands, I just need to make up something to make sure the narrative in the hub stays fluent whilest also accepting everyone who is interested and from a POK canon.

Sounds good to me and take your time. I don't think there is a good solution to come up with but I'm happy to roll with whatever.

I have a Player Owned Kingdom/City and I want to interact with Arilia. Where do I look?

Hopefully this explains everything about the way Arilia wants to interact with the POK RP groups (for now).


Buppy and Storm, I am going to decline your applications for your groups. I tried to come up with the best possible solution to make sure that the people that want to roleplay in Arilia’s Hub can stay away from the POK sphere and the FAQ hopefully says enough. The only possible way to make sure this group stays out of the whole acknowledgement issue in the POK sphere is by heavily limiting the options of this sphere. Were things different I would gladly condone everything god forbids interaction wise but I have to set certain limits to what’s possible (for now, due to how new the group is).


This still means that you’re free to join as your characters, but with certain limits put onto them. This is not to censor you or to screw you over but purely to keep the group’s POK-less element intact and to not have as many loopholes and flaws as you’d expect of a privatised RP hub on a RP server mainly focused on POK RP.

Better ideas on how I can fix this issue for the group are always welcome. Quickly learn how to Roleplay on RuneScape!

If you want to join Arilia but you want to use a races that is current not on the list of the application, good news! There's another list but I am afraid these races are currently locked and off limits to roleplay in the everyday environment of Arilia. You can help unlock the race you want to roleplay and it's as easy as 1 2 3.

Step 1: Pick a race
(up to a max. of 3)
from the following listed of locked races:

- Goblins
- Gnomes
- Cave Goblins
- Moonclan Human


Step 2: Come to me with a plot idea involving your race(s) and meet the requirements:

- At least 3 individual moments of roleplay, one of which can be the introduction
- A logical conclusion to establish relations with the chosen race and Arilia in the plot
(enabling you and others to apply as the unlocked races)

- Fair information given to participants regarding danger level, without of course spoilers.
- It can also simply be a series of random and small encounters instead of a full plot.

Step 3: Roleplay out your plot or event series with some of the roleplayers of Arilia

Please, do take the effort to post a small summary of your roleplay on this thread or on the discord to keep others informed in whats going on. It's also a good way to get people interested in joining in on your roleplay.

I think it is fine to roleplay as a gnome. They are already established explorers, and even have a colony on Tuai Leit. You can also randomly encounter a stranded gnome by the name of "Azalea Oakheart" while visiting uncharted isles.
(yes, this is a reference to what you think it is)


I suggest adding cyclopes and sea orphans to unlockable races.
-Cyclopes are friendly, and are smarter than most in-game sources would suggest. Although uncommon, some choose to leave home and travel/work abroad.
-Sea Orphans are easterners who are born with an unknown affliction, with features from sea creatures such as gills, tentacles, and fins. A good example is the bambo merchant on Waiko, and Surula, the barmaid in Player owned Ports. However, Sea Orphans are generally not trusted and shunned. An organization called the Purists is dedicated to hunting and killing them. They have their own colony on Hyu-Ji, and enjoy the protection of the Portmaster (adventurer), and The Convict, whom was chosen to be khan of the island.

Races that should probably be left for plots or avoided entirely:
-Sirens: Untrained, they are just blue fish-like people who live underwater. Trained as a seasinger, however, they are quite powerful: capable of controlling sea creatures and bonding with sea monsters.
Vampyres: They are known to purchase shipments of slaves from the archipelago, but that is about it.
-Horrors (Cave/Jungle/Unspeakable): These can be found in the archipelago in small groups. They kind of have a society and social structure, but are really just beasts.
-There are also several other inhuman races such as soothsayers and two-headed beasts, but there is very little information to go off of.
EDIT: I forgot to mention Sky Orphans . They are basically sea orphans but with feathers, wings, talons, etc. They were hunted to near extinction by the Lead Foot, a branch of the Purists. The Tengu is the only one known to be alive. "But we can fight."

Fair enough. I'll probably apply later with a character instead and will (or probably not) follow up with any ideas I come up with on how to incorporate POKs better. Sadly, I doubt anything will come to mind.
