A letter did arrive, sealed with the personal crest of the Grand Duke of Lumbridge.
Dear Julian**, Father Universal,
I must show my displeasure that my loyalty to the Church has so far been rewarded with a betrayal. With the Archbishop withdrawing his statement and pretending he wasn't assaulted, I have come under fresh assault from the Camelites with diplomatic insults. Enclosed is a copy of a letter I received from General Courval, and I've received direct threats from King Sennis in person.
I have not invested trust and capital into the Church to receive insult and injury in return. My service to Saradomin will not waver, but I must cast suspicion on this matter. I care not for whatever political deal has been made between the Church and the Camelites, for it is irrelevant. This matter has angered Misthalin, and I may well be less able to defend rallying Misthalites to fight for the crusade to the Queen if she is to be constantly harrassed by the Camelite problem.
This is nearing the brink of war, Holy Father, and I believe you would not wish to see the crusade jeopardised by such a broad international conflict.
Yours sincerely,
HRH the Grand Duke of Lumbridge.
