"Halt!"
The procession of hooves stopped, but not at once, in the clearing at the command of a man in a royal blue coat, trimmed with faded gold, and pure white trousers with leather boots. He was mounted upon a brown and white steed, and wore a fine sword on his hip. He had his hand raised above himself, its fingers clamped in a fist.
Several wagons encircled the supplies left by smugglers across the border. Soldiers in steel emblazoned by royal blue, and the sigil of the House Lavelle, a faded gold eagle, moved forward at the officer's command, hoisting the crates onto the wagons.
"Reggie,"
the officer addressed the man on horseback beside him.
"Make haste to Keep Le Faye, and inform the Chancellor of a successful delivery."
The man's only motion was a curt nod, before pulling his reigns up and commanding his steed to make off in the direction the company of soldiers had came from. After his departure, the soldiers had strapped in and returned to their steeds before guiding the wagons further into the Duchy of Le Faye, intended for the Keep itself.
Hi, I'm Dan.
