The King had prepared to send some of the military that had been down south for so long further up north and east into Camelot. As agreed on by Nolfinwe and Xerxes, the troops would be placed at the northern end of Camelot and the other part would be guarding Camelot, itself. Xerxes had ensured he'd keep the agreement, while maintaining peace for Kandarin.

OOC - Note: Dan, should you feel the need to take temporary OOC possession of some of the troops I sent for whatever reason, that is fine for now.

Troop movements.

No, not just troop movements- civilian movements. The order had been given out by the highest authority for a quota of at least a thousand elves to make their way from Hailawën to the westernmost reaches of the Kingdom, near the border of Ardougne. From there, they would await permission to cross the border. Hailawën had supplied them with some weapons of crystal, but it was clear from the start this would be no war party- it was some kind of expedition. To where, nobody knew; just to the west.

Meanwhile, a quota of five hundred real troops had been levied up from Hailawën; militia all, to make their way to the war camp between Camelot and Catherby. They were armed primarily with crystal longbows, leaving about a thousand elves remaining in Hailawën as a garrison.

Meanwhile, the remaining Armadylean crusading force, rallied with Godless and Camelite remnant forces, would be readying themselves for the battle ahead; as mercenaries, supplied by the Ardougnians, began arriving.

The battle ahead was near.

Character Name:

Adrian Adalhard.

Age (Please note we do not really have any official system for aging elves, and accept that it seems to be different for all elves):

22.

Race (Human, elf, dwarf, etc. But be reasonable pls):

Hooman.

Religion:

cyan: Saradomin.

Physical Description:

Adrian stands at a whopping six foot one. He has blonde air, which is prevalent in the Adalhard family. Likewise, his eyes are blue. Besides that he looks like your average 'Joe'.

Personality:

Will develop in roleplay.

Strengths:

An Adalhard.

Flaws:

An Adalhard.

Backstory:

Adrian was raised by Jak Adalhard and Sioban Grosvenor. Jak is the eldest son of Joseph Adalhard I, of Holy Asgarnia, and Sioban is the eldest daughter of Richard Grosvenor, of Holy Asgarnia. He was two years old when the Adalhard's passed the throne to the Grosvenors. He was only a young boy when the Grosvenors passed the throne on to the Spears. Adrian grew up in a world where his family was liked and disliked by many. Therefore, he is sometimes hesitant to introduce himself with the Adalhard name. Adrian was raised as a prince would be raised. The family had immense wealth due to their social standing. He attended schooling throughout Asgarnia, and was raised in a Saradomin fasion. Adrian began to branch out of his home kingdom in search of something... different?

Anything else you'd like us to know?:

Well is there anything ese you'd like to know?

The Wailing Wall, the Garagorsh Forest, the Catherby Palisade. The obnoxious construct separating civilization from the warlord culture of the Chosen Battalion had found itself many names. With foundations made of ruined lodgings of the partially torched fishing town, the wall had 'grown' with the aid of a new deforestation project of the surrounding region, with ballsy Bandosian war parties tresspassing unto Camelite soil to pillage their forests.

The constant toil of slave chain gangs could be heard all around, momentary breaks in work quickly remedied with the crack of a whip; but for the more unruly of the captives, the goblins had more effective methods. Thus, at every quarter-mile point on the wall, a banner pole stands, but without the makeshift blazons of the goblin tribes hanging proudly. No, instead was the rebellious captives, yoked to the crossbars in a state of crucifixion.

The black cloak of night saw the Camelite horizon stained an artificial orange, as behind the wall a hundred fires burned- the goblin tribes split into legions, legions split into centuries, gathered around their communal pyres which polluted the night sky. The scenic calm of the fishing town was replaced by never ending war drills and parades, vast feasts, tournaments and chants of prayer to a God who teaches nothing but thirst for blood and hunger for evil.

Indeed, the battle ahead was near.

About an hour after entering Camelot castle, Jeoffrey vanished. Guards couldn't report him leaving, but it seemed to be the only real possibility. Where else does some asshole vanish to? The Sicarius |

With an encampment of troops numbering in the thousands- the coalition forces numbering greater than the original force that had been at Catherby when the Battalion first invaded- Camelot was ready. With its engineers and scavengers gathering what they could from the local woods, trebuchae would be constructed before the palisade, just within range to open fire, as mages accompanied the constructors to defend them from returning fire.

When the trebuchaes were completed, the mages would hold up wards to help hold back return fire as ammunition of burning wood was launched at the palisade, in an effort to set the defenses alight. Light skirmishing at best, but intended to cause chaos on the front lines while the finishing touches were still being set up on the palisade.

When the Battalion's return fire from the mountainside grew accurate enough to start hitting beside the trebuchaes, the remaining mages and engineers would fall back to the war encampment.

All the while as this commenced, cannons were being hauled with their appropriate ammunition towards the war encampment, as long as that may take. The final armsmen available to call to arms for Camelot guarded these cannons as they made the slow march.

Original message details are unavailable.
In the cover of night, Goblin shock troopers set out from the wall's protection into the forest, making their way around the war encampment to where the cannons were being transported. The little green bastards then prepared their ambushes, peppered the moving soldiers with arrows from surrounding foliage, and then retreated back into the dark forests.

This was repeated over and over until either all troops hauling the cannons were deceased, or their moral was broken by the night seeming to lash out at them, and forcing them to flee.

Hmu in game if you have questions.
