This is a Public Roleplay group.


Hello everyone. Friendly neighborhood Runekian here, this Misthalin PoK is the Official continuation of what was Pyro's Misthalin.

Runekian, today is just another day of your life. Or in other words this is the continuation of my long-return on W42 so it’s probably best that I make clear here and now what that will mean for this group. The government of this POK is not nor will it be in the foreseeable future an ally or associate of the Empire of Kandarin or Dangarnia. I hope that we can focus on moving past what has come before and build a new community here that does not dismiss most people as being simply “bad” or “untouchable”.

I find myself having to write that I acknowledge that there is a considerable amount of disagreement between the two current Kandarin POKs. While I have made it clear which canon I will be acknowledging everyone who joins this community is welcome to their own opinion and I will do my best to smooth over any issues that arise from that. So let’s get started.

It should also be noted that this PoK will be tolerant of Mutli-Canoning characters. As long as such characters are non-political, ala Nobility and Royalty. And as such any plots that are exclusive to this PoK shall be reserved for characters that are already in this canon. Multi-canons will be on a case by case basis for PoK exclusive plots.

General Rules For Roleplayers

If you are seriously interested in joining this group then you are expected to conduct yourself like a respectful, mature adult. That is the only rule that applies to all roleplayers. Failure to exhibit acceptable behavioral affect will result in a swift kick out of Misthalin. RiDaku™ is an honorable man! Glory to the Kingdom of Misthalin !

Characters who wish to join Misthalin in an official capacity (i.e. For a role in the government) are encouraged to submit an in-character letter here on the forums, to the King, stating their name, the job they are applying for and why they believe they should be accepted in that role.

If you are not joining Misthalin in a way that requires permission from the King (i.e. Joining as a merchant, criminal or other general civilian) then please fill out this quick form:

Hierarchy

The Kingdom of Misthalin will be organized as follows:

The King - King John Vallik (Runekian) - The guy in charge (but still expected to abide by the laws of the constitution)

The Hand of the King - Sapientis de Lumine (Ridaku) - Primary adviser to the King and able to act with his authority.

Lord Justice - Kree'har (Kreehar) - In charge of all aspects of bringing justice to Misthalin - responsible for the Guards, the courts and the prisons. As the main ruling body of Misthalin is now devoutly Saradominist, Justice is no longer considered linked to religion and so the Lord Justice no longer acts as head of the Church.

Commander of the Royal Guard - ??? (???) - Commands all the guard forces of Misthalin. Has a mandate to drag the kingdom out of its current state of criminality. Reports to the Lord Justice.

The Chancellor - ??? (???) - Responsible for all economic matters within Misthalin. Sets the overall financial policy of the kingdom and is reported to by the lords of each region on all things concerning the economy.

Court Mage - Celia Amara (Bitey Kat) - Responsible for doing magical stuff

Spymaster - ??? (????) - ?????
