Founded during a peaceful period preceding imperial power in Kandarin, Elias MacMillan became a partner in a budding local business founded by the patriarch of an up-and-coming noble family in then independent district of Ardougne.
Over time, the company yielded fair amount of fruit and MacMillan would eventually move himself into the port city of Catherby where he lived for quite some time and, at some point, ownership of the company would fall solely on him, Hunt leaving Kandarin altogether for reasons largely unknown.
Since this time, MacMillan has expanded the business, eventually purchasing a stake in the late Craven Company of Karamja and relocating a large amount of his assets to Brimhaven and even some into Lumbridge and its own port due to growing disagreement with new local Imperial Policy and taxation.
For the past couple of years, the company has grown further, largely in misthalin, and recently refocused some of his attention back toward the company’s original naval headquarters in Catherby, which now largely serves as a distillery and private charter port. Some assets remain in Lumbridge and Brimhaven as well, though sparsely.
Hunt-MacMillan Enterprises currently primarily resides in the county of Draynor, now, drawing a far amount of jobs into the area, expanding its harbor and conducting several different areas of business from its main office off the town centre; shipping, receiving, as well as private charter and correspondence services. The company’s private security forces also keep a strong presence in the area and work in tandem with the local Misthalin Garrison to maintain watch over the border as well as keep law and order in and around Draynor.
Elias and his wife reside in a private estate out in the county, its location undisclosed to the public.
