A summary of Vallik's Ascension to the throne of Misthalin: The rebellion was defeated and cast away; there was still the problem of the Impostor-Queen which plagued the heart of the nation. So The Sage had set off upon the quest to rescue King James II. In the haze of the dark magics surrounding the city it seemed that all citizens and guards were afflicted, since so many were of no help to The Sage he proceeded on his own. And as such he had happened upon Sir John Vallik, one of the only knights not afflicted by the magic. The two proceeded into the palace and went up to see The King.

The objective was to rescue The King before confronting the Impostor Queen. They were denied access when they had requested to see The King from the guards at his chamber door, and as such they knew how deep this corruption had spread. And so Sir John Vallik and The Sage had fought their way into the royal bed chambers, and there they confronted a powerful wight and the Impostor Queen. They were fought back by the two men, Sir John and The Sage having been able to cause enough of a ruckus to secure the ailing King James II.

Once secured they had made haste and teleported off to Asgarnia. It was there that contact was secured within the safe walls of Falador Castle, and as such The Sage and Sir Vallik had spoken with King Jeoffrey of Asgarnia. The King was to be left there for a safe recovery. And later The Sage and Sir Vallik met with the ailing King James privately. It was here that King James declared that Sir Vallik would be taking over Misthalin as his successor.

With this done there was only the Impostor Queen left to defeat. And so Sir Vallik and The Sage returned to Misthalin. And they rallied support from Draynor and Lumbrige and laid siege upon Varrock. Eventually it was just Sir Vallik and The Sage against the Impostor Queen. Eventually she was defeated, driven off, and her spell broken. And thus Sir Vallik was crowned King Vallik of Misthalin. The Afterword: In the time since the crowning of King Vallik, laws have been changed, the royal court has been changed, and the general foreign relations have changed. The only heir of King James II which had been found was his first born son Octavian Adair, in light of that King Vallik had adopted the child into his family, and thus his name becoming Octavian Vallik. It was this boy who was declared by King Vallik to be the successor to the throne.

His three blood children, Augustus, Bressa, and Farona were all given different missions to complete. Princess Bressa was made to depart to Asgarnia to become the Ambassador to Asgarnia. It is said that she successfully met up with King Jeoffrey. Princess Farona was sent off to Kandarin to make contact with King Percival to become the Ambassador to Kandarin. And Prince Augustus was sent off to stormy Island now known as Anachronia. His task to establish a base upon the island and have men scout it out for the glory of Misthalin.

The Duchy of Lumbridge fairs well in the aftermath of the storm of civil unrest. The Duchess rumored to be pregnant with the child of the missing Chancellor of Varrock. Draynor has been taken over by Count Elias Macmillan. And Edgeville remains ungoverned in the meantime in the aftermath of the rebellion. RiDaku™ is an honorable man!
