At about mid day a fine selection of ships waving the grand flags of the Craven Company and Karamja departed the north and eastern major ports of Karamja. Their destination was for the recently occupied Kharidian region. At the center of this section sat multiple cargo ships with an unknown cargo.

The section of Craven Company ships evidently numbered around thirty-six. Each sufficiently armed and prepared for defense. Any who dared spy upon the fleet from afar might see that the decks of the ships bustled with activity, from crew to patrolling military men. A further collection of Craven Company ships remained on standy at the Karamjan docks should they be needed.

The armed fleet, numbering to thirty-six, was comprised thusly:

Ten: Sybille-class frigates.
Ten: Light frigates.
Six: Shield-wall ships.
Six: Bombard ships.
Two: Corvettes.
Two: Landers.


The regiment of cargo ships consisted of: Four lightly armed cargo ships.



Their intent will be made clear soon enough, but so far it seemed as though they were interested in trade. " Good maps make good plans ."

The envelope that arrived was sealed by a crest which was in two parts split diagonal across the wax. The standard of the royal House of Lavelle beside the crest of the Kingdom of Ardougne, indicating that it had come from the Queen of Ardougne, Isabella.

After a successful meeting Craven Company has traded the following ships to the new leader of Al Kharid in exchange for One hundred and twenty thousand gold pieces (120k):
Three Carracks
Five light Frigates
Two pallas-class frigates
Two sybille-class frigates.

The modest fleet has departed Craven Company docks to be turned over to its new owner in Al Kharid.

A meeting between Craven Company representatives and the queen of Kandarin was carried out this evening. The following agreement was achieved:

Three thousand (3k) KDF mercenaries will be sent to remain under control of Ardougne's marshall for the duration of the engagement with Bandosian forces in Yanille, or for the defense of Kandarin against said Bandosian forces. Later to be reinforced by an addition two thousand soldiers should the fighting carry on for a significant time (to be decided if necessary later). This in exchange for seventy thousand (70k) gold pieces. Ten thousand (10k) gold pieces to be returned to the Kingdom of Kandarin should the majority of KDF mercenaries return.

All KDF forces will possess no obviously signifying emblems on their persons that point to their allegiance with the Craven Company. Twenty-five hundred (2.5k) of the three thousand (3k) KDF mercenaries will consist of KDF slave-mercenaries. (IC they are treated as regular mercenaries and not known to be slaves.) The remaining five hundred soldiers will consist of regular KDF mercenaries.

All civilian ships entering Karamjan ports will be ordered to cease all interactions with Ashdale, beginning at the end of a two week period. Any goods known to be coming from Ashdale through Karamjan ports after this period will be siezed. " Good maps make good plans ."

A pair of Karamjan representatives met with the acting leader of Southern Asgarnia and struck a deal that would give strict control over the suppling of major bars in Southern Asgarnia too the Karamjan Breweries in exchange for reasonable prices on the various Alcoholic beverages.All liquor is transported from their Breweries on Musa Point and Mos Le harmless, directly too Port Sarim. They also inquired about purchasing a store in the port to sell their various products. In return the pair offered a favorable discount towards the cost of buying fruits, vegetables and fish from the Island. A Warship for his personal use and transport was gifted to the interim Duke and arrived at Port Sarim. This would overall seem to be a fairly beneficial trade deal.
It's just business.
