Introduction


So I've seen a fair amount of role-plays that reside on islands; a very great majority of which do not actually exist in RS lore. I'm perfectly open to lore-bending; but it seems that after a role-play is finished, their island becomes abandoned, unused and added to a long list of unacknowledged abandoned islands. So, I had the idea of creating a thread that would contain all of the player-made islands, where they are and who owns them. I'd appreciate support of this project by posting what islands you are aware of or own, using a simple application format below.

[.The White Knights colonized this deserted island many years ago, and established a fort and port there. The island currently houses about 5,000 residents, and is loyal to the White Knights.]

Towo Island (Pronounced Too Woah)/South of the Hook Region/Wu Rin/Startraphell

[A medium sized, slanted island. On the west side of the island is a steep cliff with a single cave that is populated by sea serpents, which come out during monsoon season. The east side of the island is mostly a beach. The island contains a single, but large settlement, populated by entirely humans. There are two large docks, on the south eastern and north eastern corners of the island. The southern dock is a civilian fishing boat dock, and the northern is the dock of Wu Rin's private trade fleet. The settlement itself consists of standard Wushankan (Japanese Style) houses, with a single large mansion where the Khan lives. At the highest point of the western cliffside is a grove of Sakura trees, with a single bench roughtly 4 feet from the edge. Lastly, roughly 30 feet west of the Khan's manor is a mine, which doubles as a smithy and workshop.]


Morpheus' Domain/Several miles North of The Arc/Morpheus' Dregs/Yeah RIP

[A disturbingly unnatural, large island surrounded by rock formations that butcher any large ship that approaches. There is a small town near the southern edge, however the design of the building matches no modern design, be it Western or Eastern. The rest of the island is populated by strange ruins, with an ominous cathedral at the northern edge. Odd, ork-like beings roam the island, and attempts to communicate from afar have been ignored. The only entrance to the island is via magic, or an incredibly small ship.]


Tyrio Archipelago / Reclaimed Pest Islands / Renderra Family / Nat (Lia Renderra)

[A chain of islands surrounded in coral, these once volcanic islands are made from old coral forced up by tectonic movement, and covered in sand. Today, the inland is mostly fertile farmland, while the outskirts are used for shipping and fishing. This was once the seat of House Renderra, before the family broke into branches.]

Aethyrmont / South of Ashdale / Driez Renderra / Nat (Lia Renderra)

[A single island city, built by an eccentric but powerful mage on top of an old set of keys, made by coral shifted by tectonic movement and covered in sand. A grand city, though small, the island has trade, and due to the prominence of it's new Renderra owners, a small college for study of non-magical arts. It is a religious hotbed for the Aethyric Druidic faith, holding the one large altar within its citadel.]


Feron Islands/South west of the Arc/Forinthry Colony/Lord Pyro I

[A chain of islands once part of Wushanko Isles but later abandoned for reasons unknown to the outside world. This region has been colonised by Forinthry and turned into a large plantation, with a single main town that houses it's local population. The town seems surprisingly well guarded for such a remote area and convoys of ships to and from the isle are larger than one would normally expect.]


Sallar Isle/Southern Seas/Contested/Harry

[Sallar Isle, named as such by its settlement of a Void Knight company lead by Commander Dromo Sallar, is an island deep in the Southern Seas. To this day, it acts as a battleground between diminishing Void Knight and invading pest forces. Despite the horrors of battle, Sallar Isle could be considered a tropical paradise, with golden beaches, humid temperatures and palm jungles. It's also known to be have a wide variety of fish in its bays but remains inaccessible due to the prolonged conflict.]

Lythel/Western seas/The Telemmaitë/Bloxzor

[The island was a site of an elven outpost back in the First to Third Ages, but after a massacre was left deserted for a time. Recently, the elves attempted to return to the island, having forgotten its history over time, but once again the majority ended up dead, leaving a single elf alive, Lutheenus, who was driven insane by the souls trapped there.

Recently, a settlement of a thousand elves from Hailawën was established on the island under orders from Nolfinwë; and Aelwen, his cousin, has been set up as governor. Contact with the island seems to have been lost, however. Something's going on within the community of elves, but nobody outside of the Telemmaitë family can quite tell what.]

Dagger Keep/Between Crandor and Entrana/Nobody/Nobody

[A small fortified island which supposedly housed one of the few remaining living wyverns. The island was given its name after the magi who defeated the beast, as the legend goes. While it's fairly small, it still makes for a relatively good outpost, able to launch ships out towards Asgarnia, Kandarin, Entrana, Crandor, and Karamja.]


Skyreach/Secret- it changes constantly/Guardians of Armadyl/None

[Skyreach is a large, heavily fortified citadel that serves as the Guardians' headquarters. Constructed during the Second Age, Skyreach is a relic of Armadylean culture. It is the current IC resting place of the Divine Focus, and as such entry to the floating island is highly restricted.]


The Satellite/Usually above Asgarnia or Misthalin/Guardians of Armadyl/None

[The Satellite is a smaller citadel, used as a staging area for Guardians operations. A lodestone here makes visiting the island open to anyone.]
