The BHU, or Bounty Hunters United, is an establishment made to unite all bounty hunters across Gielinor under one banner. They serve no master, nor country, but they do follow a set of rules. In order to maintain a profit for all bounty hunters and ensure they aren't killed by their fellows, they submit to become members of the BHU. In return, they're protected from the scrutiny of local laws, their fellow bounty hunter, and long periods without work.

Located in Burthorpe, the BHU has a strong economic foothold in the area, and the shops in the area reflect this. BHU members receive paid discounts at local shops, a place to sleep, numerous places to eat, and reliable payment for completed jobs. All any bounty hunter could ever ask for.

Our headquarters are in Burthorpe and the main office is the landscaled warriors' guild.

Bounties are gm'd by whoever posts them, unless they're posted on behalf of a city in which case they can be gm'd by the plot leader or whatever.

Bounties have a minmum of 100 gp and can be anything from bodyguards, caravan guards, people to train soldiers for your army, hired guns to track down criminals, whatever.

Bounty Hunters aren't obligated to complete a bounty they take up. If they lose interest or can't complete it, oh well. You don't have to pay them.

Bounties aren't contracts. You can't post a bounty for a backscratcher or a butler. Those are jobs. Bounties are meant to be completed and then that's all.

Bounties can be posted for slayers, as well. If you're a slayer, you can join up just to kill monsters for their bounties. You're not obligated to take any job you don't want your character to do.

Killing another BHU member will result on a bounty on your character's head, which can only be taken by Rogue Hunter Bounty Hunters; the most elite and well-trained bounty hunters out there. They take no prisoners and specialize in killing people dead, but for the most part are normal bounty hunters when there are no rogues.
