History?: It all began with a forbidden love affair. Eir , a Valkyrie charged with guiding the souls of the newly dead to the afterlife, fell in love with a human traveler. From that love, a daughter was born. Stealthily hidden away in the dead of night, the babe was left on the steps of a monastery in the hopes that she would be raised safely by the priests. For the first five years of her life, Vespir was a happy child. She had a vivid imagination and would wander deep into the woods while immersed in her own little world. One day, she went too far and happened upon a scene of highwaymen robbing a farmer and his cart of livestock. One of the bandits took it upon himself to scoop her up and kidnap her. This man eventually became the closest thing Vespir had to a father. His name was Cisco Vascilly and although he wasn't a high-ranking member of the criminal group, he was well-known for his swordsmanship and pickpocketing. His most notorious party trick was unbuckling the belt of someone without them even feeling or noticing until their pants were at their ankles. Vespir learned everything she could from Cisco. He taught her sword fighting and hand-to-hand combat, as well as what he knew about thievery.

Vespir is a very pensive, keen & seemingly apathetic young woman. She's grown up in the criminal world, so the transition to Bounty Hunter was a natural one. She's skilled with any & all bladed weaponry, as well as archery. Magic has always made her feel uncomfortable so she tries to avoid using it. She's known to wear all black with a face mask while working & uses two daggers. She can appear detached and solemn, but she can be loyal to a fault.

hi! i just wanted to make a quick note ( i ran out of space in the above post ;w; ) :
i'm totally new to roleplaying on runescape, but i'm an experienced and longtime roleplayer on gaiaonline. i know all about roleplaying and it's a deep-seated passion of mine, but i'm still learning the nuances of runescape roleplaying.

if you're willing to let me learn while joining your organization, i'd be totally thrilled. =D

i have a couple of plot ideas for my character, and i'm always willing to contribute to overall arching plots and storylines!

i'm also on discord @mayhem (#4833) so hit me up any time. =)

I have a couple of pointers, but only a couple.

1. I'd try to avoid putting NPC's like that so intrinsically involved in your backround. If Jagex releases contradictory material you have to go back to the drawing board.

2. I don't think Valkyries are a race. I'm pretty sure even in RS it's just a title. ¸¤·.¸.·¤´˜¨Live and let Die¨˜´¤·.¸.·¤¸

hi! thank you for getting back to me =)
i did take that in to account, which is why i chose eir specifically because she's based on a goddess/valkyrie from norse mythology of the same name . jagex's involvement with her background is more just how she's involved with existing rs lore and plots, but everything else is taken directly from the norse mythology. even the valkyrie aspect! valkyries are a part of norse mythology and, just like eir's job description, they are tasked with collecting (or choosing) the souls of those fallen in battle to take back to valhalla.

so i was moreso basing eir off the actual norse mythology surrounding her, i just linked the npc jagex version for... the connection to rs lore, i suppose? xD

i hope this clears things up, i apologize if it wasn't at first!

i'd be happy to change my character's background if it's still a problem. please just let me know. =)

hi! thank you for getting back to me =)
