Barely was there light when their horns first blare, and awoken the isles of Neitiznot and Jatizso. They had not seen it, blinded already by hatred of each other. There, breaking the fog, on the shores, there were ships, narrow and light, carrying some tens of hundreds of men.

They were many, and they came quickly upon the gates of each settlement, bearing their mission. It is these at these isles, of Neitiznot and Jatizso, that they should find brothers and sisters who see the ways like they, and should stand in the face of wanton conquest.

It is this day that, at the front of his militia, the Chieftain of the Rellekkan People, tells the ruling lords that they, and he, and his people, shall stand together against that tyrant who schemes to conquer lands which are not his to rule.

It is this day that Rellekka, and Neitiznot and Jatizso become one northern people, united under the banner of the Chieftain, Bjorn Roveryk, and against the armies of the tyrant.

OOC

After a sour meeting with the King of Ironfalls, Rellekka's chieftain and his militia have sailed to the isles of Neitiznot and Jatizso, and temporarily taken them over, to preserve them from what the Chieftain perceives as foreign conquest by Ironfalls.

Ofc we don't intend to hold to anymore lands than we can keep active, so this is entirely for RP purposes. Don't worry, guys, we don't really care to run much more than Rellekka, but Gale said that this okay (actually he said he 'dgaf' but same difference, right?) so we have decided to move on the opportunity.

Nothing else is going on up there, so why not bring some tension and generate some RP! Hi, I'm Dan.

A duo of local men would approach their rulers in question and show them these posters. They have been asked to be put on display in local taverns and noticeboards in order to advertise an event hosted by the Guild of Heroes.

Should the ruler in question agree to let these men put up the posters, they have also been granted a personal invitation with a plus one included where they can get the opportunity to discuss certain things (Funding, sending down a kingdom representative to join, ties between the kingdom and the Guild, w/e) with the Guildmaster in person should they feel the need to.

Ugh. There's no need to even take half a paragraph to explain or seemingly justify your character's IC ambitions. This community isn't large enough for everyone to populate every single location on the map. You really should not have even had to ask anyone what's okay for your roleplay. If a character wants something bad enough for themselves, they shouldn't wait for the overlord gods of their conscience to grant them the mysterious OoC omens to press for war or conflict in general. If the losing party wanted their territory bad enough, they'd stage a fight to reclaim it anyway.

Just roleplay, man. Stop looking for OoC satisfaction or justification from the peers. .„¸¸,.·` |

I see your point, though. We're not trying to seek anybody's approval (knowing me, I probably would have decided to go ahead with it even if he said no), though sometimes it's difficult not to in a community where everything done IC has to be taken personally OOC.

Our IC politics have come OOC, even in places where some would want them absent. Hi, I'm Dan.
