The Lance

The first part of my plan has come to Fruition. The gears of this Dwarven mechanism are in motion, as the curtains open and the show begins.

Picture a Saint standing upon the stage, one who was in life a modest page.
But he drew a spear that stabbed that great blue sage,
The Spear of Leonidas, a Holy Relic of Saradomin.

This hero retired as a Churchman after the war,
He built a monastery of cloister monks and slammed the door,
A modest little chapel with a lovely stone floor.

I enterred the building, wand in hand.
I slew all the clergy in their priestly band.
Bar one.

She was perfect. A beauty, a girl of Noble birth.
Sarah handed me my sword, I felt the girth.
With a slice and slash I cut her skin loose from her anatomy.
When she finally begged I end her pain and agony?
I drew my needle and she was ready for surgery.

A flawless face, of shiny white glass.
Shiny black shoes like no nun has.
Into the shadows I kicked her ass,
So I may free her when time came to pass.

Oh, the Elves and Empty clashed.
A beautiful sight, a splendid bash!
Tensions rise, as Serenists clash.
Death has spread, as Zarosians smashed.

I made my entrance stage right.
Most were angry at my sight.
A smile and laugh, I showed my might.
I passed the Lance, and wished them night.

My doll was set loose. Miss Nun stepped free.
She walked up to Saradomin's Army.
She gave the word, the Zarosians took the lance.
From the shadows I watched her insides spill free.

I laughed and cheered.
We joked and jeered.
Glory to Sliske, may our Lord be feared!

The Wizard

Oh, I'm more than the director this day.
I was also the star of this section of play!

I like to think I'm unpredictable. I don't stick to the same techniques, the same strategies.

Sometimes I am loud and proud.
Sometimes I am quiet and reserved.
Sometimes I roam in disguise, and see
what the commoners have heard.

This time, loud and proud describes me well. I brought my wand and spell to fight, in front of Magus Concendo. Oh, the shadow whips. The potions. The familiars and the uncanny, as I strut about a dueling ring. I showed many of my tricks, but the best cards, in fact most, are kept close at hand.

Why do this? I built a precedent. An expectation, a norm I would seem to follow. But I am not normal. I am Deborah the Deviant. I am a joker, I am the ringmaster, I am the shadow on your walls, and I am the lust in your heart.

I act the fool to show my genius.
I act the child to show my wisdom.
I act the sane to show a standard.
I am all and none. I am Deborah.

May my name be as feared as the Empty Lord himself.

Title: Uneasy Beginnings

I've hath decided to start a journal, for the sake of mine sanity. Prayer can only wend so far ere thee start to wonder if 't be true Lord Saradomin is actually listening or not... The mental physician I see on the regular suggested this to me, as he it's a time-tested exercise and stress reliever. We'll just see about that...

Whither to start..?

Mine transition into this position. This position as Saradomin's Third Brigade commanding officer, beside the most wondrous Icyene Commander Zilyana and General Pad0menes... It's been a stressful office, to sayeth the least. Daunting, for a human such as myself. Especially one with next to no experience. I knoweth not what the Church sees in me to putteth mine in such high position. Neither doth the men and women underneath me

Many of the soldiers in mine camp doubt mine ability, and tis no doubt the morale hath fallen since I've arrived to relieve the fallen commander of fusty. To telleth thee the truth, I don't coequal believeth in myself. On the daily lest I reminded how... new I am to this. How young and inexperienced I am, how I has't much to learneth. All that does* is maketh me bethink. The men and women, each and every soul that liveth in this camp. Their lives and well being art under mine care. I wilt beest responsible for each and every death that comes upon them, Saradomin forbid.

I loose catch but a wink at night at the bethought..

Glory beest to Saradomin.
As twas in the beginning
is now, and ever shalt beest
without and end. Amen.
I'm a thief. But I keep, what I steal.

Title: Mobilization

Late last night, a mangled Nun cameth to mine lodging's door. The lady wast bloodied and wounded, frantically telling me of how Zarosians cameth and stole our holy relic, the Spear of Saint Leonidas. The lady mentioned these Zarosian followers hath killed every last guard and tooketh the spear, and how the lady cameth running hither as fast she could. Saradomin rest those poor souls..

I hath tried getting that lady the proper medical attention, but as twas foretold, the lady hath passed on ere the medics could comet* to that lady aid. those gents cameth and tooketh that lady body as I ordered for an emergency meeting with the leadership of the camp. Most of those folk wast outraged.. twas hath decided we wilt beest mobilizing against these Zarosians to avenge the fallen guards, and to retrieve the Spear of Saint Leonidas. One does* not receiveth hence with murder.

In the morning, I wilt beest taking two companies of light infantry with an extra company of White Knights and we wilt beest marching east through Misthalin for the Digsite whither the Elves of Seren and Zarosian followers clashed just one week ago. Our friends in the Temple Knights suggested the Zarosians art fortifying the area, so we can start thither. As I writeth this journal I can observe through mine window the equipment and gear layouts being conducted by the soldiers and Knights to beest mobilizing. It warms mine heart to see these men and women eft for battle, coequal if 't be true many of those folk haven't seen any combat since the Battle of Lumbridge... This is an act of war, and t'will not wend unpunished.

Angel of Saradomin, my Guardian dear, to whom Saradomin's love commits me here, ever this day be at my side, to light and guard, to rule and guide. Amen.
I'm a thief. But I keep, what I steal.

Title:
A Frame of a Picture

A while ago, we heard rumors that the Saradominists had discovered that we had the Lance. No doubt that it was Sliskean interference. I personally hoped to keep it a secret for as long as possible, but when dealing with someone as ******** as the Sliskeans, you can't expect that for long.

When I heard these rumors, I, of course, sent someone to scout around. Everything went well for about a week, then lightning struck their church. Again, Sliskean interference, no doubt. This, however, was not all. Within, was something out of a murder novel. The priest had been gutted, crucified, and lastly had a symbol of our Lord carved into his forehead. A Ripper Demon had made his way into the church.

My scout, being a complete idiot, revealed his presence, screamed about the Sliskean being sacrilegious, and claimed innocence. Naturally, they didn't believe him. However, this was not all. One of Azulra's scouts had made her way to the church as well. Naturally, they detected her too. In the chaos caused by her escape, my scout retrieved a small Sliskean talisman from a pool of gold.

This was a teleport icon of come kind. I wanted to go and investigate myself, however, my lieutenants talked me out of it. One of them volunteered to go in my place. Naturally, it was a trap. He found himself on a small island, in the Karamjan Volcano.

Continued...

On this island, was a trap. If any of the Saradominists had made it there, they would be dead now. According to him, there was some kind of trap there. Only one who could see into the Shadow Realm could make it off of there. My warrior planted a beacon there. We should be able to come and go at will. I will station a spy there, to make sure that they be destroyed should they return.

Lastly, I will make not that the Saradominists are readily approaching, and that the Rippers that I recruited are getting restless. Maybe they can be sent out to destroy the Saradominist forces. Take a page out of Sliske's book, perhaps. We could plant evidence leading to the Zamorakians. This could work, however, I really do not wish to end innocent lives. They are merely pawns in the game of someone they do not fully understand, and as such, are easily fooled... I pity them.

Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there, wondering, fearing, doubting, dreaming dreams no mortal ever dared to dream before.
