Title:
Espionage
It has been a few weeks since I decided to lead our people to glory. Naturally, the first thing one needs to do when making an army, is recruiting soldiers. That is what I started with. I managed to recruit a sizable army from volunteers of the desert dwellers, the remnants of our soldiers in the Frozen Prison, a few modern Zarosians, and of course, several Mahjarrat were willing to join the cause. One might assume that the creation of an army ends there. Nay, it does not. Once one has a force, one must know who it is that they will fight. To do this, one must negotiate with other nations, to learn who is your ally, and who will stand against you.
Even during recruitment, I had enemies. While scouting for talent in the slums of Varrock, my recruit and I encountered a pair of spies. One wore red, the other green. I chased the red, and my soldier the green. I no not of what happened to the green one, but I know that the red one got away. Considering that they had spies, and were not able to conceal themselves well, I managed to rule out all but the Zamorakians, the Godless, and the V worshippers. As a result, I decided to pay the 3 a visit.
Before I managed to make contact with any of them, I was made contact with first. A member of the godless faction attacked me. A gorajo, if I am not mistaken. He kept yelling about avenging his fallen brethren. As a result, this made me rule out the Godless, and I did not kill the scout. Second, I visited the Zamorakians. My suspicious were cast aside when one of their leaders talked to me so calmly, without even a hint of concealing anything. At that, I had a chat with Magus, of the V worshippers. Though my suspicious were not cast aside, they were not confirmed either. We managed to strike up an uneasy alliance. I currently suspect only the V worshippers for sending the spy.
