Pyro made the Arenaride account to prove that your reactions to his roleplaying/attitude was strictly because the name "Lord Pyro I" was attached to it. He didn't change his style or his general attitude at all when on Arenaride and everybody piled on to him as being the next big thing. That's not metagaming, that's purely OOC.

Pyro just explained the IC section of things in this thread. If there wasn't such a massive stigma around a name, he could have easily done the same things without making a new account, and it would have gone exactly the same way (Unless you guys are saying that the IC and OOC attention Arenaride got was purely because he was a new RPer, in which case you guys are the ones that were metagaming).

Truth be told, I didn't know that Jacob Delvar was Pyro in disguise. There weren't any examples of massive fire magic or Jacob not being able to die by conventional lacerations (like what happened in our fight, elaborating later.) So from an IC standpoint, on my end, Jeoffrey had manipulated Jacob and cleverly planted his own allies in positions of power, in preparation for a coup. On Pyro's side of things, he had his character being a sort of puppetmaster to it all, IC'ly seeing Jeoffrey taking advantage and rolling with it as a way of securing everything for later. That's not metagaming.

Yes, OOC we were planning things out. Whose characters Jeoffrey would be planting in power, what position Jeoffrey would be getting leading up to everything, ETC. That is also not metagaming, because that's basic OOC structure for any POK. You figure out who's the best for each position.

I would add that people I met on W42 even people who are posting here now did not seem to know all the details even yesterday. That is what prompted me to post this thread, believing that perhaps not everyone on W42 involved had heard about it yet.

Also I'll fill in the FAQs tomorrow with questions that have already come up, both on the thread and in game. "The greatest endeavors are achieved because of their selfless intent"

Actually, this was all planned out by both Pyro and Ridaku together in unison, I have screenshots much like is kept to make that legal case that will go nowhere. These screenshots were given to me by Panera /and/ an unnamed individual. Don't play dumb, we all know your game

I literally just laid out our "game". I'll even say that Pyro, as Arenaride, tried getting Castigo/Salt to give Asgarnia over to me when the topic came up, and that it was forced on him. So then we just set up for me to take over.

Its common sense. Even with the explanation given by Pyro, the fact of the matter remains. There are too many elements of Lorebreak to consider it a POK. Its not meta, what you did do is Auto, Powerplay and Blacklisted. Even when we were willing to work together. Arenaride the person we thought was new is a testament to the rest of us as w42ers to continue to help new rpers understand our world. You and Pyro's plans are a testament to your snakery.
