The soft swell of voices and the sound of quills on paper filled the room inbetween each break of silence. The meeting room of the Varrockian Palace had never known such tempers. Fire demands spoken from the lips of the Imperial Viscount Philip de Akre was met with the cold temperament of the Grandmaster of the White Knight Order.

The crimes of Jane Grey had been high, and the invasion of the Empire demanded equal payment. The Kingdom of Asgarnia and the Empire was still at war, and any wrong move, and both peoples would know deaths by the thousands.

A tentaive peace agreement had been reached. With the Kingdom of Asgarnia paying with both coin and materials, alongside halving trade taxes and ceding rents of Port Sarim. Which would be instead now collected by the Empire for a period of five years.

The Imperial Red Stripe Trading Company was also gifted special protections and the right to do business within the borders of the Kingdom, spreading the Imperial Trading Network further and cutting trade tax in half for the company for a similiar five year period.

While finer details have still yet to be ironed out, the side liners of the room took a collective breath; the Imperial war machine will not be mobilized.

With the royal wedding only days away, The first few shipments of laborers have arrived at Port Sarim for the production of the Asgarnian Fleet. Other Karamjan vessels that arrived contained various merchants and officials of the Craven Company to spread their business were they could in Asgarnia.
It's just business.

Expeditions: Journey into the Land of Always Night, Part Two

The dreary, barren wasteland of the Forinthry awaits daring adventurers who would wish to join an expedition into the cold, northern wastes in search of valuable materials; those who would join the expeditionary party will be rewarded with gold and may also take a cut of the loot found on the journey.

The expeditionary party is now halfway through its journey through the dark landscape of Forinthry, after a battle with ancient undead and goblins, taking the life of one of the White Knights. Regardless, after setting camp deep in the northern wilderness, Sir Walter and his company of adventurers are determined to finish their mission.

What? : This is an ongoing expedition into the Forinthry under the banner of Asgarnia. It is led by a White Knight officer, played by myself, Captain Walter Samuel. Since we lack a safer location, I must advise you to take only items you can afford to lose as we will have to use the ACTUAL wilderness for the duration of this roleplay.

YOU CAN STILL JOIN THIS ROLEPLAY. Please PM Dansplainer/W a y for more information regarding how your character can become involved, even if they had not been in the first roleplay session.

Where? : We will meet OOC at the Edgeville Monastery, then proceed to the starting point of the second session.

When? : Wednesday, the 10th of July @6PM PST, 8PM CST, 9PM EST

In place of the wedding event, the second part of the expedition into the wilderness will take place on the 10th of July. For more information regarding the event, please PM me in-game or post a question here.

Over the course of several months, a rebellious movement was forming in the northern province of Blackmarch, marching from town to town to gather volunteers who would join their cause for protest against the lords whose affiliations were with the Zamorakian Faith amd the Kinshra order. Mostly peasants, farmers, craftsmen and some moderately wealthy merchants, who were the bulk of the leaders of the movement, were steadfast in their devotion to Saradomin as the one, true god.

A particular lord, the Baron of Folsingath, a small castle estate deep in the heart of what was considered to be "Kinshra country," attempted to dissolve the growing protest with diplomatic means, meeting with the organizers of the rebellion to discuss terms which would bring the matter to a resolution. In the midst of a tense discussion between the two sides, the Baron's accompanying militia was drawn into an altercation with the rebellious peasants; the brief skirmish took the lives of many of the protesters, sparking an outrage which led to the the storming of the Folsingath estate. The Lord, and his family, were taken hostage by the assailants and the rebel group quickly demanded that despite the centuries in which his family had humbly and dutifully ruled the land in the Crown's name, that he be deposed and his title revoked to be placed in the trust of a faithful Saradominist.

To cement their demands to the reigning authority, the mob travels to Falador with the expressed intent to execute the Lord Folsingath in the White Square. The fate, and condition, of the noble lord's family, as yet, remains unknown.
