Roleplay Summary - Behind Palace Walls




The big three that currently governed the human kingdoms of Kandarin met up during a rainy spring day at the Palace of Ardougne. Vynriette Aren and Tonya Mordeaux were welcomed with more guards than usual and uptight security. Zamorakian terrorism was the excuse for taking both guests’ jewellery and to do a bit of soul searching to make sure they were the real deal. They were. The three sat down in one of the palace’s conference rooms and started their private conversation about the situation in Asgarnia.

Friendly formalities soon dissolved into bickering. Daisy wasn’t at all pleased with Tonya stoking the fires of war, fuelling both sides with resources and soon even troops. It eventually all dissolved in a rant, where Daisy referred to Axel and Vectis and how only those with power have the true ability to create peace. World peace even. For that to be achieved, the map needed some rearrangements.

With a piece of magic charcoal strapped under her sandal, Daisy lifted the rug upon which they sat with her foot and finished the magic circle beneath Vynri and Tonya. Crossbows pointed at the two, a small magical scramble ensued between Vynri and Daisy, but Daisy got the literal upper hand thanks to careful preparation and catching the poor woman off guard. Two leaders in chains were then explained how things were going to happen from now on. Threats were made, some insurance policies were agreed upon and the ball started rolling.



As the sun broke through once more, Tonya Mordeaux would be released to return to Camelot with news. The Warlord and her Bandosians will make a move to southern Kandarin. Camelot is to be resigned and will be placed under new management.

A letter arrives at those responsible for correspondence at Ardounge’s castle, it is slightly tattered and has messy handwriting scrawled along the inside. The signature appears smudged and smeared with dried water.

I humbly reach out from eastern Ardougne with a desire to meet with you in person. I have dedicated my existence to fishing and woodworking like the majority of my family. After I lost them to sickness, I seek a purpose and believe I can be of service to Your Majesty. I am a hard worker and will do my part to find my role in the Kingdom. I am currently renting a room in Ardougne and have attached the address, below. I hope this letter finds you well and that my lack of advanced knowledge of the Kingdom and the formalities of reaching out to royalty do not deter you.

Were it possible to track down where the letter was send from, Amelia Novelle would find a letter in her mailbox about a day or two after she send her own to the queen. It was sealed with a yellow wax stamp that displayed the royal Lavelle Eagle. It would come with a small pouch of 40 silver pieces included for Amelia to spend as she sees fit.

Deterred? Not in the slightest. It’s a well known fact that I enjoy the written word above all words the most. It enables people that are simply too busy to stay in touch with the world to have a way to talk to their friends and family. It pains to tell a hard worker without family that I am simply too busy at this moment for personal meetings of your wanted nature, but I hope that my encouragement, both financially and verbally will brighten your day and lead to much more in the future. Keep working hard, it pays off eventually, but do remember to keep patient. Good things will happen eventually and remember that bad days are days that are just bad.

To prevent you from reading something you are not interested in, here’s
the TL;DR
up ahead.
I’m working on some family based roleplay around the Lavelle ( Ardougne POK stuff basically ) and was wondering if some folk were interested in trying to set something up with me. I got some WIP royal kids made and ready to be adopted. All I ask is to pick one and let me know if you’re interested.



So the idea for now is to roleplay a bunch of orphans together that meet up with the queen. She basically interacts with them (as a group or 1 on 1 ) for a while and if we’re clicking ICly/OOCly the character gets the Lavelle surname, royalty perks, money and all that bla bla done. What is up to you is the physical appearance, the personality and what happens with the child if/after adoption.

You can enjoy being royalty, pursue a militairy campaign, study magic with mom, hunt Aren for sports, make shady deals with Cravens, betray eachother, rule Camelot, run away from it all or do whatever as long as you adhere to lore and we're all on the same page as to how we try to hurt eachother ICly.


I’m still working on the details and will make a discord for this eventually. Checking the waters first by fishing for interest in this dark corner of the internet. So if you are interested in picking a somewhat ‘done’ character off a list and are interested in roleplay an heir to the queen of Ardougne, let me know here or through Discord and maybe we can make some interesting story happen.


Do keep in mind that names, traits, flaws, etc etc is all up for change. Add, remove, change whatever you like if you feel like it works better for you. I'm sure we can work things out. I'll post a very brief example of what I have in mind so far. Feedback always welcome. Quickly learn how to Roleplay on RuneScape!

Example Character #1




Name: Johan Lansing

Age: 14-19

Race: Human

Historical Background: A boy born in the slums of Misthalin, grew up in an orphanage and was eventually smuggled to Karamja by human traffickers where he was forced to work on a banana farm. The boy has no idea about his last name and goes by just ‘Johan’, as his records were erased by a mysteriously ashamed noble of her bastard baby. After finally earning enough money to pay for his freedom the boy moved to Ardougne where he quickly ended up homeless again. Meeting up with the owner of an orphanage in West Ardougne, Johan started to work as a volunteer and took care of the other children like an older brother would.

Natural Talents/Traits: Johan is a hard worker and through sheer willpower will try to plow himself through any difficult situation. Thanks to working with younger children Johan also has a ton of patience and he rarely loses his cool.

Flaws: This child does not know his limit just yet and will selflessly work himself to death if it was required for the wellbeing of others. He can seem restless and overprotective at times strangers are involved, causing him to come off as unwelcoming and even hostile.

Precious possessions: The machete he got on Karamja during his days of slavery.

Character Name - Viking Wok
RuneScape User Name - Masterwork
Requested Position - Viking
Race - Human powerlord
Age - 125 (but looks like 25 years old)
Combat Specialty - Mainhand magic (old magic wooden staff), offhand melee (small stabbing dagger aka defender)
Notes - He went to Valhalla and back and gained magical/melee pvp powers but uses that for the good things. He brought back some relics and artefacts from Valhalla that makes him the strongest one.
Such as:
- The Staff of the Gods (magic staff boost his (attack)magic by 999999999999999999%)
- The Defender of Justicia (the defender boosts his attack, strength and defence by 999999999999999999%)
- The Infinite Vial of Elder Juice (kind of overload in rs but boost all his skills to level X + 999999999999999999 for 1 hour and has no cooldown timer)
- The Aura of the Universe (sees and feels everything so people cannot kill him in his sleep or something and the aura fused together with Viking Wok)
- the Pouch of Golden Coin (unlimited money but can't spend it on bad things like buying weed for a kid for example)

The one thing that can defeat him is Love. He will sacrifice everything for the person that he loves.

Dear, fair Queen Daisy,

It has been many weeks since we spoke and I remember the promise I made to write you after the siege was lifted, and I kept thoughts of you in mind; by now, word has no doubt reached you of our victory over the warlord Pyro and his Zamorakian hordes. He retreats back to the dark lands from whence he had, apparently, come and I expect not to hear of him again. I have went with the lords farthest north, where Forinthry meets the Blackmarch, to begin projects intended to prevent such incursions in the future, and to handle the matter of the lawless Kinshra order. My people are pleased now, that the fighting is over and good food and ale pours into Silverhill once more, intact and plentiful, and works have promptly commmenced to begin reconstruction of those whose homes and shops were destroyed. It is only with the grace of Saradomin that we persevere.

In the last few days, I joined a meeting of the Queen Rosaline's council in Falador, where Her Majesty announced her intentions to claim the throne of Misthalin, in personal union with Asgarnia; it seems that my Queen intends to move quickly, following our triumph over the Zamorakians, and I am truly awestruck by her initiative if am to be honest. She will leave my peer the Duke Viktor with the duty of governing Falador, and I do feel he is suitable for this position. He is a shrewd man, even for his age, and of many admirable qualities. Perhaps it is selfish that I tire of sitting idly then, awaiting my various civil projects to come to fruition. It is not so that I am unhappy that this conflict is over, but that it seems I shall have to return to a sedentary, quiet life soon enough, even when I do not feel it in my nature.

Perhaps it is not wise I pour such complicated feelings into you as I write, so soon in our relationship. I do wonder how Ardougne fairs, I have heard some talk of recent events, though of course I can not say I am well informed of the matters themselves. I wonder how you fair, Daisy, and if my concern for your well-being is proper. Perhaps when the time is suitable, I shall have to come visit your court. I must admit I have never seen Ardougne myself, though I have heard stories of its grandeur and might. I know some who would say it is not appropriate for me to be so eager to see your kingdom, for many times yours has been the enemy of my people. Though, rest assured, I do not see you my enemy, but a friend. Your family, likewise, is close to mine; I recall, your mother knew a cousin of mine, and through this bond, we had many partnerships. I would like to see our bond renewed, and that we endeavor to unite our families in a common cause, for enduring friendship and peace between our realms. There is little more I know to write now, else I shall go on forever so I shall leave it here.
