Today marks a horrible day for the Caliphate as men in purple robes bearing the mark of Zaros have attacked the market. The bombers are believed to have killed as many as forty innocent market goers in a sudden surprise attack. While many others were wounded the quick actions of the Divan prevented a local magic shop's wares from adding to the explosions in a chain reaction. Lord Yazdan, a member of the Divan, was wounded critically in the attack.

Threats of terror and acts of violence have began to plague our great Caliphate. One of our own, the esteemed Lord Yazdan was injured in the most reset attack. Our own citizens, in the great city of Al Kharid, are beginning to feel unsafe. In a city surrounded by natural defenses, and so highly regarded for being a jewel of the desert; we can’t ensure the protection and safety of all of our citizens because of these acts of violence. As Mushir of the Caliphate, I feel personally responsible for these tragedies that have plagued us. No longer can I sit in this palace, or roam these streets and feel like I’m doing my job to the best of my ability. No longer will I let these acts of violence disturb our people. Now is the time for action.

I am asking his Holiness, the Caliph; his Excellency, the Grand Vizier; and their Eminence, the esteemed members of the Divan; to cry out in outrage with me. Our standing military is currently sufficient to protect our land from minor threats, as a good number of our troops are concerned in the southern desert, with the rebelling Menaphites. I call for us to double the size of our present military, which is about two thousand strong. I call for us to approve the strengthening of not just our ground forces, but our naval forces. I call for us to declare war on these terrorists that think they can scare us to submit to their desires.

How can we face the western kingdoms with confidence that we are their superior, if we cannot even face our Caliphate with confidence? The noble house of Dae will provide the funds necessary for these improvements and this campaign. And I will personally see these terrorists are brought to justice before the Gods.

Let your voices be heard members of the Divan, because now is the time for action. Will you be known for being strong enough to stand up to opposition, or will you crumble before the Gods of this sacred land? In the South East, a rapid shift has happened among the nomadic "Bandits".

With the false-flag and planted information of a "Zarosian" bomber, the local spy network knew exactly what was happened. Their operations had mysteriously been reveal by an unknown leak which they were quite sure hadn't existed until just then, and they were framed for an aggressive and sloppy action. They quickly sent word to their home, and the many tribes packed up and fled, like they had centuries before, and have seemingly vanished into the sands. They've taken refuge in hidden valleys, slipped into the populations elsewhere, and some have gone into hiding in deeper spy rings then ever before. This poorly planned attempt at a Crusade has made their spy operations stronger than ever before, and brought the entire population under the influence of the shadowy figure who previously only had control of one tribe.

( Hi, I was finally informed of some stuff, and this is reaction to it. The new, bigger-than-before spy ring will do exactly as planned to before; nothing. They will watch, observe, and report, not doing stupid things like shouting "
Hail Zaros
!" and exploding. ) This is a signature, and I am not creative.

I'm sorry but we do not accept the powerplaying of our officially established roleplay plots or events by unofficial people not in leadership of Kharidia. I thank you for your interest in the desert, but you also cannot powerplay every single Zarosian in the desert.
