A shimmering silver letter arrived in Kharidia, scented with lavender and written in elegantly light purple ink.

Caliph Tumuh Khalam of Kharidia.

It is a great honor to address my own brothers born of the desert. While I do follow the wise teachings of Scabaras, I do not believe we can afford to practice isolation between our two great kingdoms. His Majesty, Jonathan, King of Kandarin, also subscribes to my belief that we are stronger together than we are apart. He now wishes to visit your great kingdom and my ancestral homeland in hopes to build a relationship between our kingdoms that will last millennia to come.

In turn, he also has given me the honor of formally requesting your presence at the Springtime Ball in Ardougne. We hope that our kingdoms can benefit from each other's rich culture and friendship.
