"Many of them, especially the older among them, seemed to have oddly disfigured spines. They appeared hunched over, like their backbones were forcing them over forwards. Many of my men were sick at the sight of these creatures; we have to deal with a lot at the Brimhaven Port Authority, but nothing there was able to prepare us for this."

Were there any other clues at the ritual site?

"The oddest thing we found there was the thing they were dancing around. A bas-relief, a little shorter than a human's shin bone and as thick at its thickest point as a man's thigh, sat on this island in the middle of the lake. The figure it depicted... I don't know what it was. Imagine a fish possessed of arms and legs, with the eyes and mouth of a demon. It was like that, it belied some sort of human intelligence. Perhaps worse."

Sir Ronald Legrasse was unable to show me the bas-relief as it is currently being stored as evidence.

Were you able to discern any other clues from what you found at the ritual site? Such as the location of the missing lumberjacks?

"Sadly not. No other clues were to be found at the sight, and as yet we have no other major leads. The informant who led us to the cultists in the first place has yet to get back in touch with us."

Well readers, this would appear to be all we have for this week. I was unable to squeeze any more information out of Sir Ronald or anyone else at the Brimhaven Port Authority, though my investigation does not stop here. Needless to say people are now beginning to look up and take notice; the secrets shall soon be out, I feel. Sleep tight until then, Gielinor.

Pig Wrestling: A forgotten past-time.

Remember going down to the pig wrestling arena with your old man as a boy and cheering on your favorite pig wrestler? Neither do I!

Just recently, pigs across Gielinor have been sprouting up all sorts of new uses. After an unnamed adventurer paraded around a few cities with an unfamiliar pink friend, pig farming has been on the rise. Pigs can now have certain uses such as carrying items, altars, and even fighting! Who would've guessed that pigs would be good warriors? I personally believe it's brilliant that these once-forgotten animals are making a comeback.

Pigs weren't always only used as ground decor though. I had a chat with a very seasoned pig farmer named Paul who resides in the town of East Ardougne. Paul has been in the pig farming business for years but only recently gave up the profession as it "lacked a good gold piece bringin' in" . He recently bought a new pack of pigs when the new-found uses were proven to be in high-demand. I was curious as to why he ever had pigs before this, so I asked him. It turns out that Pig Wrestling (chances are you've never heard of it) used to be a very ceremonial and popular activity in the past. What's the concept of pig wrestling you may ask? Well, it's very simple and straight forward. The wrestler often greases him or herself up and jumps into a mud pit with a pig...and wrestles it. There may be a reason as to why this pastime was left in the past.

I hope you've enjoyed this history lesson on swines. If you haven't, go out and get yourself a pet pig. They're quite useful!

Character name: Tame Locke

Age: 24

Race: Human

Job applying for: Columnist/Karamja correspondent.

Residence: Brimhaven.

Experience in job: "None in journalism, though I've been writing poetry for years!"

Please write a paragraph on a subject of your choice:

Karamja

There are few locations as likely to stir the imagination of adventurers and profiteers as the island of Karamja. The dark continent holds a reputation for sweltering heat, merciless terrain and ever-present danger. From the cut-throat pirates who dock their raiding ships in Brimhaven's ports to the mighty Tzhaar in their underground city; from the unique, vibrant and deadly aquatic life exclusive to Karamja's coastlines to the endless jungles whose mysteries we can only guess at. We hear little as regards the island from the northern kingdoms beyond talk of colonial development and investiture, but what thought is given to the people who live there? The cultures that have thrived for millenia in what is, to us, utterly uninhabitable land? What knowledge do they posses that we have forgotten? Do they know of gods we do not? What wondrous art and technology might they have, and would they deem us worthy of sharing it? I say that if we approach this land with the opportunistic and colonial view that is prevalent among many, we may never know. Nor would we ever truly know what a terrible thing the loss of that knowledge would be.

\I'd like to point out that although he is applying for the job of Karamja correspondent (and yes I realise that wasn't on your list, but he'd love the job anyway) he can travel. I appreciate not much happens on Karamja and that you'll probably need him elsewhere. He loves traveling, and can be pretty much wherever you want him to be.

Marvin, if you require someone to supply the weather forecast for Morytania (and subsections within) I'm available to fill the void the previous sources left behind. Just let me know if/when you need anything, and I'll be sure to give you a fascinating show from mother nature.

As an inquiry, do your advertisements need to be strictly for a clan, or can it be for a place maintained by a clan? For example:

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Character name: James Mysts

Business name: Toffee Farm

Advertisement: Join us here at Toffee Farm for giant snail rides and a deluxe tour of Mort Myre! Pick up a pet leech on your way out of the farm, located just west of Port Phasmatys, Morytania! Sign up for tours early and receive your very own replica of a vampyre's medallion! Humans are given a special set of clothes for FREE upon their first visit at the farm!

For how many issues: Err, all that you'd send, I suppose.
