Its been years since i played pokemon on handheld console (Gen 3). In 2016 i heard about Pokemon revolution online "PRO" and been playing it since then. Its F2P Pokemon MMO where the game starts from pallet town and follows the handhelds story all the way to Sinnoh island.
Theres community events, pvp tournaments, trading system and all sort of cool content thats worth checking out if youre into pokemon franchise!
Especially this feature was..interesting
When making the transregional transition into new regions, your Pokémon will be temporarily stored away; they will be made reclaimable later as you complete the region.
- Nothing like building a new dream team each time you enter next region

Recently restarted my pokemon soulsilver. A great game. I have that as well.
I also beat Jasmine in my mono Grass run in Gold (the original I downloaded on my 3DS) mostly with my highest levelled mon, a level 27 Bayleef. Mud Slap is such a useful move. Prepare for hell on RuneScape in Naval Cataclysm!
