It's the same no matter who you vote in. They lie through their teeth 24/7.

Boris said before he got in he would be abolishing Hospital Car parking charges which I protest about. Then during his speach when He got back in he said removing hospital car parking charges for only thoughs who need it. So what the hell does that mean lol. He said they were going and looking forward to it as I pay a fortune every time I have to go there unless I use my motorbike which is free parking,

Rooh hit the nail on the head. You see their lips move you know they are lying.

We have them now for 5 years.

Fingers crossed they do some good and just don't mess it all up.

The stipulation "providing economic conditions allow" has been in the small print for ages - since well before the general election. People knew this before voting. Sounds like hysteria to me. Besides, would you rather have your hard earned wages stolen by means of increased taxation?
I'd rather politicians be honest tbh... Nah I'm not patriotic though to be pro taxation. Just like companies, I try to minimise my tax. What about you?

Support.
I would much rather anyone PK in game than do so irl. If you wanna get it out, do it on an online platform please. I don't want anyone getting harmed physically. :(

Honesty in politics does not win votes. Jo Swinson attempted honesty and look what happened to her. As long as there is a majority who will believe anything without doing their own research, this will always be the case.
I like this one - as long as there is a majority that believe whatever politicians say. Just like with UKexit. Can't believe people voted to make the wealthy wealthier and the upper middle class and below poorer haha!

Exactly, but it is what it is. While Brexit is a ludicrous idea, it will not negatively impact me personally. It will impact those on the cliff edge but these are the same people who voted for it. I say fine, but don't come crying to those who tried to convince you otherwise when Operation Yellowhammer becomes reality. People need to remember what they voted for and take some responsibility.

poli = many

tics = ticks

What are ticks? Bloodsuckers.

What gets me are those who vote a straight party ticket regardless of who is running, their track record, platform, promises (or lack thereof) instead of voting for the person who would do the best job. I'm not at all opposed to voting against my party, if I feel the other person is best suited for the job.

Question is do you vote for the leader or do you vote for the MP who actually cares about your constituency; therefore contributing to the leadership? Boris Johnson is not exactly loved within the Conservative Party; however, local MPs tend to care a lot more. His majority could go against him if he isn't careful. Once the Brexit problem has been dealt with, his radical right wing agenda could be under threat as people begin to see through the cracks as he is little more than a one-trick pony.
