An analyst who specializes in programming/systems, specifically accounting/auditing (think beyond the financial audit and more internal audit/compliance including increasing efficiencies). I can get more technical, but I think that is good enough.
But I have plenty of engineers in my family and although PLCs/robotics are a different ballgame, there are several similarities. Basically, every department is impacted by the economically available boom in technology and the very low barriers to entry in terms of learning/adapting to the technology have allowed for massive shifts in what used to be traditional roles...but not everyone has caught up to the massive change and availability yet...
And I swear I'm not going to let her know all the pain I have known
