I don't feel like sharing my hopes and dreams seeing as I have none. I am content with the discontent and I find peace of mind in knowing that regardless of the situation I am in I will find ways to adapt.

Perhaps you could say I failed in everything, or rather that I failed in nothing given that I had no ambition to begin with.
I died, it was boring, and so I stood up.
I ask you, what's the purpose of having a purpose?

Accounting...
I know, Mr Exciting. :P

However, as I work for quite a small business, I get a lot of other "odds & ends" types of jobs. At the moment, I'm working on improving our website by adding more products, making sure there's images, writing the descriptions (and making sure they are filled with the keywords needed so Google picks them up & sends more traffic to our website) and so on.

In the past, I have also:
- written our entire HR policies
- re-written the contracts of all the employees to be fairer to both parties as well as clearer
- produced a costings sheet to show how much profit we make per product, as no-one has checked in 5 years, so it was all wrong. Had to change our pricing too.
- brought payroll internal to save costs
- encouraged & researched the move of our shop to a better selling location (currently working on opening our second shop!)
- re-organised the shop front to be more inviting to sellers
- got the bosses to pull their contacts more (which has even led to us appearing in a national newspapers, several catalogues & even some brief TV coverage)
- hired 2 additional staff members
- worked in/with production to improve the quality of the goods produced, streamline production where possible, lower the amount of wastage and keep raw material stock stocked! Even managed to move a little money aside from each sale so we could afford a big expensive piece of machinery. It'll be worth it in the long run, but it was hard to save up so much!

Never ending list of those little jobs that need doing. Just somehow always end up being my responsibility! :@

Still, I do enjoy working where I do, and despite all the shortcomings I don't want to change jobs just yet.
If you only do what you can do, you will never be more than you are now.
