a recent annoyance is buying clothes online. I wanted some new summer shorts so I ordered two different pairs my usual size. One was huge the other way too small.

I know you take that risk buying clothes on t'internet but I'm sure it's gotten worse, sizes seem to vary massively.

...and no, I haven't put on any lockdown weight :P _

Ikr! On page 7 of this thread I was complaining about the variation in sizes. I'd bought the pyjamas in store ( on 2 different days ) but the fitting rooms were closed. The difference in the waist size was about 3 inches. O_o

Why do streaming services sometimes miss out some episodes in a series? I found a medical TV series from the 1990's and watched all of season 1 but season 2 started at episode 7..Where had the first 6 episodes gone? Also in season 2 they have uploaded the video of episode 20 from season 1 instead of episode 20 of season 2 BUT the subtitles are for, what I assume, is the proper episode. What the?? I keep the subtitles on because I sometimes need them when I can't quite make out what is being said. I'm old so my hearing is probably not as good as it was. Its easier than turning subtitles on and off.

That's like Games if Thrones I'm watching, I feel like I'm missing bits and pieces from the story. I'm not sure if I am or not. Like the Dragon Princess partner died, he had a huge wound on his chest, how did it happen?? Not sure if I missed it or it was worded in and since there are no subtitles, I'm not sure if I missed it or not?? There are other bits too I feel the story is missing. And I am watching episode 1 through to 10.
If fat means flavour then I'm ******* delicious!

I didn't see it; yesterday another car went through a red light, which ment it went through the green pedestrian crossing, my son said it just missed him, he felt the breeze of the car. This just happens far too much. I have told my boys even though it's a green pedestrian walk sign still check to make sure no cars are coming, that they have all stopped. Boys being boys there minds are busy or chatting to their mates etc and forget. It's a worry. I just wish they have cameras.

Not sure if I mentioned it, a while back this guy went through a red light because he was late to class, which ment he went through a green pedestrian cross sign and ran over a elderly down-syndrome gentleman's foot. I rang the police, as I'm fed up with it. I was so angry.

Drivers just don't give a shit...

I've had a case of red tape this morning! A friend has lost her decree absolute paperwork but needs the date of it to put on a government form. She has no internet access or credit on her phone at the moment so I phoned on her behalf. I can't lend her my phone as we live several miles apart but I've been keeping in contact by phoning her. Apparently anyone can have a copy of the decree absolute if they pay for it including me but they can't tell me the date over the phone because I'm not one of the people involved. Where is the sense in that? I can get even more information including the date if I pay but I'm not allowed to be told the date over the phone?? What the?? The problem was solved by me giving them her phone number and they said they will call her with the information she needs. I'm going to call her later today to make sure they have done that and if not I'll just have to buy a copy of the decree. *sigh*
