that was my fear too. but if going to a experienced piercer (even though i hate saying stuff like that as to get experience you need to do it...)
theyll know what they were looking for. the lady that did mine (40 mins ago) she felt inside my nose a lot with her fingers (with gloves) and then a clamp to make sure it wasnt going in the cartilage.

and yes you 100% have had worse piercings. haha 100% 300% worse lmao
