United were awful last night :(

The enthusiasm and energy they showed in their first game under Rangnick seems to have just vanished. Ronaldo was dismal, no energy and no effort, Rashford wasted chances, Bruno was sulking.

Cavani managed to pull one back for a draw but we should have annihilated Newcastle.
If de Gea hadn't had a brilliant game it could easily have been an even bigger embarrassment.
Who's the cat that won't cop out when there's danger all about?

I don't think Ragnick has had enough time with them yet considering they had to close down the training ground amid the covid outbreak and only just got players back for the Newcastle match. But then again there are several primadonna types in the squad who might not like being managed by a no nonsense coach. After all these are the same players that managed to get Mourinho and Solskjær sacked.

I do however, not think this narrow 4-2-2-2 system seems to suit the players they have available at the moment.

Apparently the yellow card Manquillo was awarded for timewasting the 95th minute against Man United put them below the threshold for available players for the next game against Everton (they're also got players out with Covid and injuries)...

Everton - Newcastle on the 30th postponed to it's just Man united - Burnley playing today.

Yeah they're amazing at the moment.
I know that as a red I should despise them, but my dad was a lifelong City fan so I still take an interest in how they're doing.

A much-needed win for United last night... not a spectacular game, but pleased on the whole... and McTominay was outstanding.

Goal 803 for Ronaldo with the cheekiest little tap in I've ever seen :P
